Which Pokemon to cover for Zam?

    Hey everyone. I'm trying to make a team, and I keep finding myself replacing some Pokemon with another. However, when I think about my team, I'm trying to pick what Pokemon cover the counter for the Pokemon I currently have out.

    I'm trying to think of Zam. I'm trying to find out good Pokemon to cover for him, but I'm running into some trouble:

    Metagross
    Infernape

    Actually, those are the only two I can think of. I was wondering if there were anymore.
     
    Well why not have a Baton Passer do it? Umbreon is quite a slow tank that can safelt let Alakazam into battle.
     
    Scizor might be a better baton passer, what with Iron Defence.
     
    Eh nobody is going to run Iron Defense, even if it is just for Baton Passing. Iron Defense is one of those attacks you'll only find on BP Teams.

    My personal input on bringing in Zam, is to send in something like Skarm or Forretress. That will lure in Infernape, in which on that very turn, you toss out Zam and Attack whenever you can. Substitute can also be of assistance if you happen to run into Tyranitar in the process.
     
    You don't need Skarm if you're using Metagross. As a matter of fact, even throwing Snorlax in does you a little bit of good.
