Hey Guys, it's me (the new kingsnivy, requested a new profile name change) back here.
So I just want to discuss which style should we use?

    Tilesets and Tiles

I know Black/White and Black 2/White 2 tile ripping is a pain to rip (for some of us) because of the 3D style thing.

And there are some people who extracted some HGSS tiles, but I'm not into that.

And the FRLGRSE tiles are outdated (kinda)

While not many use the Gen II/I tiles.

So, feel free to discuss! ^_^

    Battle Pokemon Sprite (thing)

So, many people prefer to add things called "Fakemon" just like some other projects.
You can find Fakemon Projects easily by just searching the forums.
Buut I don't like that, cuz I suck at spriting, so yeah.

    Anyways, to the main topic.

There is already a kit for BW/B2W2 sprite packs.

X and Y's pokemon "models/sprites/things" are ripped by some sites,
Such as Serebii, smogon, and a spanish site (forgot its name)
    But I forgot its name.

Gen IV sprites can be easily ripped.

    Gen III are the easier.

Gen II/I are the totally EASIEST.

    Again, feel free.

    Overworlds

    Okay, Overworlds.

In the new essentials there is a new feature called "outfit customization" I think?

But this feature was introduced in X/Y. LET'S SUE THEM! jk, But I think it's a really cool feature :P

But we can't rip X/Y overworlds :( WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Just like the other sections, GEN V/IV are easy

GEN III is easier while GEN II/I are the easiest.

    HP Bar

Remember your attempt KO'ing Red? Me neither.

Oh wait, I did. The health was sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.

But, I don't know how to put the BW HP bar into Essentials.

    GEN IV/III are already there.

GEN II/I were made by people

    Thanks for Reading!

I find myself feeling rather fond of the Gen 3 overworld sprites/tiles. In battles, I appear to be less picky as long as it's from Gen 3 or later. Battles are probably more of an "it depends on the individual Pokemon" scenario.

Part of my preference could be due to lack of familiarity with the gens past Gen 3 though, as I've barely played any video games since then and I've tended to prefer just picking up an old platformer or an OLD arcade style game when I have gamed since then (while I can sit and tinker with programing a game for weeks at a time, my play style is much more short and sporadic). Also, other budget priorities have been over-riding buying new video games.

I also had a hard time getting excited about Chimchar and Gen 4 in general (lack of new fire types. :<), although I've been interested in Gen 5 and 6. Budget and my personal play style have been the main factors in why I've been putting them off, though. I do intend to get to them eventually.......
