Who had the hardest battles?

Of all the mangas which characters do you guys think had the hardest battles?
To me the Kanto dex holders had the hardest battles because first they had to battle the almost invincible team rocket elite trainers, and to make things harder they then had to battle a very powerful deoxys and a new team rocket elite trio.

Thats a really good question!!!OoO... They all had some rough battles its hard to say! Kanto holders had the Team rocket and Elite Four which where really serious...I'm not counting FR and LG cause there aren't any remakes of the other games although there is a high probobility of heartgold and soulsilver to come out with manga about Gold Crys and Silver...

Johto holders had the mirror team rocket and Pryce and multiple situations around them such as fighting ultra ledgendaries...pretty tough...Ruby and Sapphire were the only two to fight...and they had to face Team Aqua and Team Magma and Groudon and Kyogre...They also would have faced deaths if Celebii wasnt there...

I havent read Emerald arch but I don't think Emerald would deal with a lot...

DP: Im not sure about this one too but Team Galactic is probably one of the most powerful teams because the can control Time and Space and Dimensions with Giratina....

So I can't really say which was harder cause all of the archs were so different...

I think it was the Kanto series because of the evil elite four and the original team rocket. And also with the DP series they have out so far I think he will have the toughest battles, but for the already fully out ones, I think it would be Kanto.

Absolutely, the Kanto Pokedex Holders! First they had to defeat the gym leaders, most who were actually in the Team Rocket Organisation, the Elite Four then the Team Rocket Elite Trio!
