Who has seen the grudge?

It was ok...the Ju-no movie it was based off was a lot scarier to me...but the ringu is better then both of them, lol. This seemed like one of thoese movies that points out we can't be afraid becuase we all die one day.

whaaat, ju-on really kind of sucked compared to the grudge. ~_~ ju-on was laughable. at least the grudge combined the elements of both ju-on and the prequel to it in such a way that it made a lot more sense than ju-on did, and was a LOT scarier, even if it did have to american-ize it by adding it more jump scenes.

just because the japanese one is, well, japanese, doesn't mean it's better :/ usually I'd agree and say that japanese versions, in general, are better compared to their american remakes, but I really don't think that's the case here. ju-on did not scare me at ALL but the grudge made me really shaky and trembly scared afterwards ;.;

...Wasn`t this already another topic?
Oh well...

The grudge is funny. I laughed. SMG is funny. Buffy is funny. Yeah. And she ran from zombie like things...Heh. SMG running from those equals funny!

Plsu, like, me gf predicted the whole ending...>.>
<.<
It was sad.

And Ringu made me laugh, too. I`m weird...But, then again, Ringu maked all my friends laugh. So, ehhh...I guess they`re weird too!

look, some people r twisted - mayb u rn't 1 of them (i don't know u) but it's not cool 2 laff at scary things, unless their incredibly fake. + ya, it was in questions, but sum1 yelled at me 4 putting it there!

...I don`t laugh when something is scary.
Ringu and The Grudge failed to scare me...I found both rather lame.
However, Grudge had some really cool effects, like the shadow, and the girl with the jaw...^.^ That was cool and stuff. I loved the effects.
Some of the camera angles were REALLY terrible, however, and we were commenting on that, when not making jokes about Buffy "WHY IS BUFFY IN MY FRIGGEN HOUSE?!?!?!" and other things that diss on Sarah Michelle Geller, because she plays EVERY character like they were all Buffy! Well, except in Scooby Doo, but, I swear...I saw a twinge of Buff`ness in that!
As for Ringu being funny... "Frolic In Grime, Goblins Be Thine?" ...Honestly, now?! HOW SCARY IS THAT?! And the guy with the cloth over his head that points at things? I mean...God...It`s...Hard not to laugh at the pointy cloth man! And, also, like, um...well...The part with the whole "psychic" thing, the part where the guy has a heart attack? THAT WAS HILLARIOUS! Just the way he fell down! Agh! Lol! I never stopped laughing from that...XD

I guess I`m one of those people who aren`t scared by actors running around acting scared of things that don`t exist. But, ehhh...That`s just me...
However, Saw, is another issue. Gah, that was pretty fockin` scary...ish.

Pleasant something, people.

it's "frolic in brine, goblins be thine" actually ^___^;; sorry, small nitpick! brine makes sense because it's salty seawater, and sadako actually has a small history with the sea... that it's one of her parents, or something... it's explained in Ring 0, I think? or maybe it was Ring Virus. I don't know. but one of the sequels/prequel.

but I have to admit... cloth-covered man (ryuji) was kind of amusing, once you got past how creepy it was.. XD

13131565665666 whatever your stupid ID is, that was like OFF TOPIC.. No offence, but what kind of post is that?
Learn to post in certain areas of the forum and keep on-topic, either way, whatever Care Bears is, it doesnt sound so scary.

I haven't watched the Grudge, I don't like thrillers or scary movies so I'll be passing on that one, because I watched the commercial and it already freaked me out. XD

The...Grudge... :dead:
I only just watched it yesterday.
I laughed at the first half but the rest got creepy, especially that noise that went down the phone ...creepy. I knew it was gonna be a cliff hanger aswell would've expected it for a horror.
The funniest part was the beginning everyone watching laughed. People kept screaming for no apparent reason (a man tripping at the stairs...what the hell) i'd give it... 8.5/10 out of most of the horros i've seen

That looks like the dumbest movie ever!! It doesn't look one bite scary. And whats with the kid "Meowing"?? Oh thats soooo scary,a kid that meows,RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!
