wtf is with u people collesium sucked cus its like playing the gameboy game on a gamecube where they added 2vs2 and it wasnt compatible with any old games
definately either of the stadiums had mini games and all sorts of lil crap
anyone who knows pokemon that the whole point of stadium was graphics and being able to use a lvl 100 that u wasted hours of time on making lol
the only reason collesium wound up like playing the gba game is cus thats prolly they only way they could lazily use 1.35 gigs or w/e one of them disk stores
the only reason im playin this next game to is cus of lugia and not cus i really care about pokemon anymore

not to go off-topic myself or anything but if I were you I would claify yourself, etc. Kinda hard to understand, lol.

erm, well, for me the nintendo 64 as a system was great, not to go off-topic (again) but playing stadium being it the first 3d... besides snap... ewww... pokemon game, where you could battle, I was all for it, and I'm not a big fan of colloseum because of the "whole" shadow pokemon idea... but maybe its just me...

Why do people keep on saying the rpg was too short? I have like 25 hours on mine and I still havnt finished, what makes it worse is I was trying to hurry up and beat the game. Anyways Colloseum for me unless I find out after I beat the game that I cant use it for storage, that would just suck.

Personaly i like Colosseum better and not just because i'm a rabid Wes fan but because of the many different things in the gameplay. Like the most obvious; stealing other's pokemon and the constant 2 on 2 battles... even if there is a way around that. Then there's Rui following you arond and boring into your back with her creepy eyes. And it's nice to see my pokemon in better 3D graphics among other things.

I liked Stadium v2 more than Colosseum. I bought one game instead of two (Colosseum + Pokemon Box), and it had the minigames. Also, I have an awesome team from Red that I can't use on Colosseum.

I thik stadium 2 is overall a better gamwe over colloseum.Colloseum was innovative in ways, but the major letdown is with the plot and length. I mean, come on, the graphics are awesome, the gameplay is good, but they kind've blew it with the plot. It had potential for engrossing length an depth, but they kind've went the cliche route with it. Plus, the sound wasn't too keen. While the music was great for the most part, they blew it with the pokemon cry sounds. In S2 they sounded realistic, but now, they're just ripped from the GBA games! That's not quality, that's cheap.

What?!! Colosseum is so much better it isn't funny. All you did in Stadium 1&2 was battle and play minigames(which got old). I think Colosseum was a success. Colosseum was a whole new adventure(which I really liked), and with better graphics. And you could battle your Pokemon from R/S/E and FR/LG. Stadium 1&2 are good games, but Colosseum is definitely better.

In Colosseum, you couldn't do pick your own Pokemon in Quick Battle(whatever it's called!).

But in Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2, you could pick your own Pokemon in that Free battle and stadium and the Gym Leader Castle, play Game boy Color Pokemon Games, play Minigames, alot of fun stuff.

I don't know, i liked them both a lot, a pokemon RPG on GCN was really cool, but theen picking your own pokemon in stadium was awesome, it's more like a 50/50 thing, they both have their ups and downs ^_^

Pokemon S1/2 are better over Collo. Wtf is up with Gamefreak. For you players who want adventure You guys have Green(inport), Blue, Red, Yellow, Gold, Slver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red and Leaf Green! GOD Enought with the dam adventures.
Players just want to battle these days anyway, I know I do.

I played all 3 games, I actually Brought Collo....God....Boring as hell. The running around...always 2 on 2 battles which made it even longer....THEN OMFG SHADOW POKEMON?! You need to snagg them which is retarded considering Poke'mon was never about capturing Trainers Pokemon, even if their evil! And the way you need to Purifyig them....>.> I would think battling with the Shadow(OMG) Poke'mon would make them more mad/angry which makes them more eviler. Calling them and Battling them takes forever, especially for the legendaries. As for the Bonus Disk.... Mew>Celebi>Jirichi(sp) anyday. Plus Game Freak MAKES you buy it just because thats like the only way to get Jirichi. So their making you Buy it new just for that crapy, rare Pokemon. See, I"m smart. I brought it used hoping just to get the Dogs and Ho-oh. Thats it. Sadly I Couldn't even bare to finish the game because it got so tired of it.

OH I know your guys are saying "Well, this time your objective is not to catch them all or be the master of Poke'mon" Wrong!! GF Tricks you with putting in some "dark" storyline blah blah....But in fact you know You NEED thoes Poke'mon to trade and have on your Data. *Sniffsniff* GOTTA SNAG EM ALL AND PURIFY AND PUT ON DATA ON THE GBA GAMES FOR DATA!! And OMFG....The freaking blocks it takes up, JUST LIKE ANIMAL CROSSING! It;s like....slower than the GBA versions. I find Pokemon Channel/or Snap More Appealing

FYI: Only brought this game because I thought it was another Stadium, so Me and my friends could have a good Party Game. Gave it away though. I got far to where I captured Suicune and I'm inside the Lab.

Meanwhile Stadium takes you right into the action. Pick between all the pokemon and Movesets. Mini Games, The Gyms/Cups were kinda random though. You could also Transfer Your Pokemon onto it and battle your friends Pokemon...Good times.

And I'm sorry for typing like that...I'ts just that Collo sucks hard to me....GOD!

As a person who's logged the maximum number of hours on Colosseum (99:59), I definitely can make a good decision about which game I like better, and I'd have to say...

Stadium 2

The reason is simple. Multiplayer. In Colosseum, you have to 1) Purify all your Pokemon and/or 2) have one or more GBA-GCN link cables. I only have one, so I can't do anything but fight one person at a time. And that's just with regular Pokemon. That's kinda boring.

Where as in Stadium allowed you to rent out Pokmon, and up to four people could play, even if you only had one transfer pack. Not only that, but you could register up to TEN teams. In Colosseum, you could only register one.

I've heard a lot of people write that the mini-games in Stadium were boring. I have to disagree with that. Normally, back in the old days, that's all we used to play. Especially on Hard mode. Those Chansey Eggs, and the counting Pokemon, and stuff... It was hilarious and fun.

But what got me most was this. In Stadium, the sprites were EXCELLENT for the system. But in Colosseum, only the Hoenn Pokemon looked good. The Kanto and Johto Pokemon were simply referbished! You could see the harsh angular lines, and the identical movements. They looked like they didn't have much effort put into them.

However, I love Colosseum, especially its RPG part. I 'rarely' touch the other parts because of the difficulty in maintaining interest. In the RPG portion of Colosseum, with the help of Mt. Battle and the Deep Coliseum, I can level up a Pokemon to 100 in a few hours. I did so with Milotic and Ninjask. Articuno took two days. So dispite its flaws, I like Colosseum, but I think Stadium was better.

And Stadium Two is better than Stadium One just because they took the elements of Stadium One and improved them. And Mewtwo is no longer godly <_<. Seriously, six Pokemon to take that one down, and it was STILL hard.
