Who needs Snow? We need the Warmth!

With a Sub you have 2 chances at it, and again, switching to Heatran anyone?

Actually, now that I think about it, Blissey takes ANY of Heatran's Attacks, and can heal Garchomp of It's sleep Status, and has Natural Cure to boot.

In the sun Heatran 2HKOs Blissey with Specs Fire Blast. Ditto for Moltres.

Also people who lead with Aerodactyl are crazy. It's way better to use with teams it really works well in that don't fear Scarfers and such.

Since Mixape flat out flattens this team, stay with Grumpig over Snorlax BTW. Otherwise listen to what Samson was saying.

Also Timid Moltres really stinks compared to Modest ._. Moltres can really nail crap though that you need it to but Dragons will wall the bajeebers out of you if you run HP Grass.

Really the most common fire attackers ARE dragons, as well as Infernape. Um, Weavile could come in handy for playing the role of "knight who slays the dragons" or Dugtrio could steamroll Infernape.

Don't you love my verb selection?

I mean Physical Infernape will be a big problem that Dugtrio could solve. It would also get Vire, Raikou if it's timid, and Jirachi below 80% health.

the reason why i suggested aero is because he has both taunt and sunny day. taunt is a vital move for teams that depend on sunny day. unlike water types who benefit from rain dance, fire and grass (especially) types are very vulnerable and really can't perform as tanks and sweepers at the same time. so you have to leave it up to something that is very fast that can prevent things like stealth rock, stat boosts, reflect/light screen from being set up. he makes a reliable starter that can set up sunny day but also get in a hit.

Aero gets clocked by almost every common lead though, which really hurts it.

Then again that could work in your favor since switches can be quite predictable hehe.

Also I vote for Tangrowth as a CBer since it's like CB Snorlax only it switches in on physical attacks.

Speaking of which CBlax might not be a bad idea itself. Tyranitar likes to come in and rain on Lax's parade, but Focus Punch is just game over.

Seriously all I know is that Moltres and Heatran are good in the sun so maybe I should back out of this topic.

I wish you wouldn't, I could use the help. Is Tysplo-Thys-Cydaquill's final evo any good in the Sun?

Think of it as a slightly weaker Kyogre and WHAM.

Seriously choice Specs Eruption hurts like nothing else and even Blissey will take notice. It's a 2HKO I believe. However SR ruins Eruption so yeah. Fire Blast/Overheat/flamethrower as a secondary move help though.

Typhlosion can really drill stuff, but snorlax is a pest (then again who uses that besides me?)

I REALLY wanna use this Shiny Modest Cyndaquill...Any ideas?

Choice Scarf?

Typhlosion @ Choice Scarf
Modest Nature
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk/252 Speed/6 HP

- Eruption
- Solarbeam
- Focus Blast
- Lava Plume/Flamethrower <----- For when your HP is low and you need STAB.

Not familiar with using it, but it could be a beast with Sun support.

No. Arcanine stays. In fact, no legends at all. I haven't the patince to soft reset right now. I've been meaning to play Arcanine & Roserade (& Tangrowth) but I'll settle with Arcanine (& Tangrowth).I might lead with Mr. Shiny Typhlosion.

Then Choice Scarf please.

Typhlosion@Choice Scarf
Mild (Would be nice, but you have Modest, so w/e)
252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP

Focus Punch
Eruption
HP [ICE]
Focus Blast/Earthquake

I think that is it, don't quote me on it though.

I may not have a good HP. In fact, I said it was Shiny. It's a Modest Nature. So Focus Punch & EQ are out. Solarbeam goes in, since it's a Sunny Day tesm.

I do like Deanodance's set, though.

This is the sole reason I thought Aero could make a good speedy lead. I need somethig that can resist Ground & Fire moves to set up Sunny Day.
