Who thinks growlith should randomly get a third form?

    Growlith should totally have all the different type forms like eevee does. Imagine a water growlith or an electric growlith, that would be amazing.

    But... that'd just be the same as Eevee hurr durr

    Growlithe pre-evo would be love though;
     
    It'd take away from the uniqueness of Eevee. Growlithe is good as it is now, like having an electric Growlithe would just be like having a Luxio, having a dark Growlithe would be like Poochyena. It won't happen, but yeah it'd be cool to have a water Growlithe.

    A Water-type Arcanine evolution was rumored during the PokeGod phenomenon as the PokeGod "Woofpool".
     
    Agreed. Having multiple Growlith evolutions would sort of defeat the point of Eevee. And so far as I know there's still 9 more types for any new eeveelutions that might be introduced in the future, so we're OK there.

    Now a pre-evolution to Growlith may be very interesting - perhaps something even more like a puppy than Growlith?
     
    Growlithes fine as it is, as everyone said if it has multiple evo's then it would just become Eevee.
     
    Having a pre evolved form of growlith would be intense because they kind of pulled that with pikachu and pichu. But if they dont do the different type forms for growlith they should atleast do it for a new pokemon. The eeveelutions are epic and all but I think its time a different pokemon got the spotlight. I've been watching pokemon from day one when it first came out so I like to think my opinion counts for something.lol. Every idea I've had so far has been shut down by literally everyone who replys:(

    You have to think logically and in the popular opinion of the fanbase before you throw any kind of idea. Besides, the point of the forum is to discuss how we feel about current things and about other ideas. Nothing in a forum is ever listened to by the creators. Look at the Bring Back Misty Fans XD
     
    I understand where your coming from, I just think everyone is waaaaaay to narrow minded lol. But its all good everyone is entitled to their opinion.
     
    If this happens to Growlithe, then this has to happen to Vulpix too, seeing as they are version-exclusive parallels of eachother, and if this happens to Vulpix too, it would be severe overkill of a unique concept that quite frankly, is overstaying its welcome. Glaceon and Leafeon have little charm to them imo.
     
    I love Growlithe and Arcanine, but I believe we should leave him alone he is fine just the way he is. :)
     
    I agree, doing vulpix would be overkill. But they should do something new, 5 years from now if pokemon is still on there'll be like 20 different eevee forms. I'm not hateing on eevee by the way, eevee is one of my favorites:)
     
    I don't think that there' much more that can be done for many original Pokemon- In my opinion, most of them are fine the way they are. ESPECIALLY the Poison ones.
     
    But there's always the next gen to look farward to:) As far as I'm concerned they can keep making pokemon episodes forever, its just one of those things thats super popular with almost everyone.

    Given that there's only seventeen types, and the seven we have now are overkill, I highly doubt they'll ever reach 20. Hell, I doubt we'll even reach 10 Eeveelutions. >_>
     
    I doubt they'll make more eeveelutions but there's always a chance, if they do it'll most likely be a steel form and a ground form.
     
    I vote for a pre-evo of Growlithe!! A REAL PUPPY!! :3
