Question: Why do i see so many shinies in master balls?

So i am an avid shiny pokemon collector for the pokemon games. I do 33% of my trades from people off this site and the rest in GTS negotiation. I always see shinies in masterballs. For example non-legendary pokemon, and pokemon with pre-evolutions that you know at one point it was a low level, easy to catch pokemon so why would anyone catch it in a masterball.

My first thought is most of these pokemon are hacks unless the people who catch shinies always use master balls on whatever shiny they see. They can trade these pokemon through GTS which is somewhat of a hack checker. It just doesn't really make sense, and i was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on this.

If it is the GTS, then yes, they are hacks.

Well, maybe they ran into the shiny and didn't have anything but a Master Ball. Or they didn't want to risk killing it because it might have been way below the level of their party members. There's a few reasons for it that don't necessarily mean it's hacked. However, this isn't really the place to ask. It might be better to ask one of the Trade Corner mods, TwilightBlade and Aurafire. Or perhaps you could ask in the trade chit-chat in the Trade Corner. But I wouldn't really call them hacks right off the bat though. Just saying. I also never use the GTS cause it's bull crap. lol
