Why Do You Think An Animated Special for Pokémon Special Has Not Been Created Yet?

    I read over and over, mainly from Pokémon Special readers, that a show based on Pokémon Special would be awesome. Even though this manga gets more praise than the other ones, there has already been an animation for another Pokémon manga. So as the thread title asks, why do you think an animation for Pokémon Special has yet to be made?

    Also, it's suggested that you don't put an answer like "Cuz their stoopud!!!11!1". Just give a good reason that you put a little bit of thought into.
     
    I think the main reason is that there already is an anime. So why should they make an other?

    The next reason I can think of is the obvious violence in Pokemon Special. Pokemon in anime form is mostly made for kids around ten years of age... But an anime where people get killed and pokemon get really hurt is not much something what an innocent kid mind need.^^;

    Also is the Pokemon Special manga series already around 30 Volumes long... That would mean an anime would also become a few seasons long. Like one season for every arc of PokeSpe. That would make it a huge project.

    So I don't think they'll ever make an anime series about PokeSpe. Maybe... One day... There could be an OVA on DVD... Which would be totally awesome. But an anime...? Nope.
     
    Other anime series have had spin-offs, OVAs, Alternate Universes/Timelines, etc.

    I think it's purely promotional. The current anime is... promotes the brand for a young age group - the target age group for pokemon. It shells out the pokemon products, promotes mascots, etc.

    Granted there's been the Chronicles Spin-off series, but I think they said that those won't continue.

    And honestly, if there was a Special series, a number of pokemon anime watchers would switch series (not everyone, and most would watch both), but having two series, one would overshadow the other.
     
    Because the actual anime brings them enough money. PokeSpecial anime might not be that profitable.

    I think this is the case because Pokemon Special anime would be to mature for the younger audience. If Pokemon Special should be turned into an anime then they might as well turn all of the Pokemon mangas in the anime. Then there is the fact that there is also the another Pokemon manga called 'Pocket Monsters' which is the most popular Pokemon manga in Japan and is ongoing just like Pokemon Special is and the Japanese would probably favor 'Pocket Monsters' over Pokemon Special and will be outraged if Pokemon Special became an anime and 'Pocket Monsters' did not.

    I agree with Imzadi and Porygandrew.
    Since there's already an anime, they'd confuse the little kids who watch the show. They'd be like " y is ther a nother asch ketshum?!!/??/1"
