4th Gen Why not Crystal?

    Allright, so why didn't Nintendo remake Crystal? They know the fans want it, and is there a reason NOT to do it?

    My theory is:
    We all know that Gold & Silver are like twin games, but Crystal singles out.
    Most people chooses the game that singles out, so not many people would buy Heart Gold/Soul Silver, and it would have been less money for Nintendo.
    And now when there's two games which are hard to choose from, people may even choose both games!
    So my theory is that Nintendo gets more money since they don't release Crystal.

    ...or it could be that pretty much everything that was in Crystal but not in G/S were included in HGSS. Making a Crystal remake would be redundant and wouldn't sell as well. =/
     
    To make more money. Why release Crystal when we can put it in another game and make 2 versions for people to buy 2?

    Yes, they squished pretty much everything into HGSS that was from Crystal so they wouldn't need to make Crystal. Think about it. 10 years ago, maybe the economy went bad for G/S at once they released Crystal, so they learnt from their experience and decided not to release Crystal this time, but instead squish everything from it into HG/SS so people still would have the same hard choice. And when some people pick both, they pretty much earn from it by not releasing Crystal.

    This sums it up pretty much.

    No need for a Crystal remake, when HG/SS already includes most of the Crystal Features (minus the Odd Egg). This has been discussed many times before and comments basically went around in circles. To avoid that again, just going to close. But yeah, No Crystal remake is to happen - plus we have the 5th Generation coming soon. =]
