WIFI/Region(Games)

Well can somebody explain to me the basics of Wifi, because I have a Game Boy Advance SP and played Emerald, and I will get a DSi and HG or SS for my birthday, can somebody explain me the basics of playing online, And I heard Platium/Diamond/Pearl and HeartGold and SoulSilver have different regions, which is better?(I want opinions)

I hope I understood your question...

In D/P/P/HG/SS you can battle and trade with friends. To do this you must have their Friend Code (Which is a unique 12-digit code) registered, and they must have registered yours. There is also a place called the GTS which stands for Global Trade Station. It is a worldwide network over which players of D/P/P/HG/SS can trade Pokémon without Friend Codes. More info here. There is also a Wifi Plaza, where players from around the world can go to play minigames.

You can also team up with a friend in the Battle Frontier, make Poffins (Pokemon Muffins) with your buddies, and receive rare Pokemon over Mystery Gift during certain time periods. There is a lot to do. =)

And to answer your second question...

In HGSS you get to travel through two regions. Kanto and Johto. DPP only has Sinnoh. I think HGSS is the better deal.

Yeah Kirbychu is right u should get HG/SS and u will have ur pokemons follow u around all the time but u should also get platinum since it has more of a different gaming expirience becoz of the Distortion World OF Giratina LOL
