Hey guys, I'm new here and need some help.

So I heard about rom hacking like a year ago, and have been wanting to try it since. I've been studying since then, and I do know a good amount, so I decided to hop into AdvanceMap for the first time. I did figure out to edit palettes and maps, but I couldn't figure out how to put in wild Pokemon data for new maps. When I looked it up, it said to add grass to the map, which I did, and still didn't work. I'm sure lots of people before me have had this same problem, so I'm sorry to be an annoyance, but I really want to start a rom hacking project for me and maybe even my friends to play, so I need help with this.

Also, for whatever reason, whenever I go to an existing map while editing a new map, it creates a duplicate map of the one I was editing named whatever existing map I went too. For instance, I was making my own mountain map, and switched over to Pewter City, and then the program duplicated my mountain map and named it Pewter City. It's not my top priority, but it is very annoying. Then I just end up with 5 duplicates of the same map, named different things.

    Please Help
