Well, i just got back into Duel Monsters and have assembled a deck for real, not just goofing around. So please help me by giving tips or advice about my deck to increase its efficiency!
    Monsters:
    Swift Birdman Joe
    Sonic Shooter
    Firebird
    Birdface
    Typhone
    Sacred Crane
    2xSonic Duck
    1xHarpie Lady 1
    2xHarpie Lady 2
    3xHarpie Lady 3
    3xHarpie Lady Sisters
    2xDivine Dragon Excelion(Plan A-easier to enact)
Simorgh, Bird of Divinity(Plan B-harder to enact)

    Magic:
    2xLightning Vortex
    Giant Trunade
    3xHeavy Storm
    3xElegant Egotist
    Harpies' Hunting Ground

    Trap:
    Hysteric Party
    2xCompulsory Evacuation Device
    Icarus Attack
    Magical Arm Shield
    Covering Fire
    The Transmigration Prophecy
    Gift of the Mystical Elf

There are three strategies in mind when using this deck so far:
    1. Keep a constant flow of Harpies on the Field with trap and magic cards. Using the harpies' and the other monsters' effects send every card on the opponent's side to their hand or grave, then attack directly. (Or use Sonic Shooter to attack directly). When enough Harpies are destroyed use Hysteric Party to bring them back.
    2. Using divine dragon excelion's effect gain attack ponts, another attack chance, or inflict damage to your opponent's life points equal to that of a monster destroyed by this card.
    3. Use Simorgh, Bird of Divinity's effect to drain both players' life points by 1000 per turn each, but prevent damage to you by keeping your traps and magic and sending their's to their hand. You can use Sonic Shooters's effect in conjunction with this strategy to decimate their life points.

You can only use 3 Harpie Ladies (even if they have different numbers on them).
This doesn't apply to Harpie Lady sisters, but you have only have a combination of three Harpie Lady 1, Harpie Lady 2 or Harpie Lady 3.

edit tbh, Harpie Lady is kind of archaic in terms of Winged-Beast when you have awesome cards like Blackwings. Awesome there meaning "full of awe," not "amazing." You definitely want more Hysteric Party though.

thanks, i didn't know that! I guess i'll have to see what blackwings is and change up my deck to fix the problem. -_-

Although I think this deck works fine, BWs are probably dominating the current metagame, so if you stay WB, you might want to look into getter some of their archtype. Like Gymno already said, Harpies need to be three total. Typhone is pretty useless, being a normal type monster with no support for the deck. Some of the other monsters look pretty shabby, but it seems like you have any idea for them

Good luck with your future dueling, and it's nice to have another fan ^^.

Ooh Ok. Well, and I'm just saying if it were me, take out the harpie 2's and 3's and make them all 1's. (you can't have that many anyways) and take out the typhones and the sacred cranes and the harpie lady sisters. Add cards like "simorgh, bird of ancestry' "wind effegy' and "swallow's nest". Hope this helps :)
