I'm not very good at poetry, but I thought who cares and I decided to give it a try. Here's a not very long poem about Winter, which I wrote (surprise, surprise!) in the bath! Please give me critism and I will take everything you throw at me (not literally). Thanks, and enjoy!
Winter:
Hollow whispering in the trees,
Reminds one of humming bees,
Glistening snow on the ground,
Often has a crunchy sound.
Elders reminisce about their childhood
winter dreams,
New sleighs to ridden,
Hand-carved by dad,
Long, frosty evenings with much
fun to be had.
If you listen closely, you can hear the
Robin's call,
Welcoming the winter and
bidding farewell to the autumn fall.
Santa comes with his bag full of goodies,
Giving dolls and trains to the kiddies,
and Ipods to the teenagers in their hoodies,
Whatever age you may be, winter is a truly
magical thing to experience and see.
I hope you liked it and remember to review!!
