Today, on 17th June, the world observes World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought.
This day came into existence after Rio Summit in 1992, which was officially declared by UN in 1994.
In name of modernization and architectural development, the humans are destroying the nature, which is resulting in all these calamities. There are many people around the world who enjoy looking into buildings and architectures, but they always forget that these creation came into fruition only after destroying the creation of nature, which can never be matched by humanity.
