I am pretty new to EV training and what not since I haven't played Pokemon since Saphire.
Anyway, my friend has a lv100 Cloyster, I haven't battled him yet, but his Cloyster has like 500 defense, and I don't remember what else. But from my research I have found Cloysters base stats for HP and Special Def is VERY low. I have a Jolteon with about 350 Special Attack and 359 Speed. So I would think I could easily take it out with a thunder bolt maybe even a volt switch. But he knows about my Jolteon and still boasts about his Cloyster as if my Jolteon is no threat, so I am thinking that he knows something I don't. Anybody know if my Jolteon is capable of taking out his Cloyster with ease?
