Wow, Adamant Koffing!

    Hey guys, I lucked out in breeding, and managed to breed myself an Adamant Koffing (it turned out female, I was after a male, but oh well). Started giving her rare candy, but not sure what kind of moveset I should have for my eventual Weezing...

    Any suggestions?
     
    Weezing- [doesn't seem like I can choose can I...] @ leftovers
    EV: hp and def
    -will o wisp
    -pain split/chesto rest/explosion
    -sludgebomb
    -haze/shadowball

    I'll prefer modest if I want Weezing to be able to attack... O.o; I find flamethrower and thunderbolt much more handy.

    nah other way around works better... when you're just out of an egg at lvl 5, you really don't have much options o.O; Say you want to sp.atk EV train but you're too weak to take on Spindas... then what? However when it's the other way around, you can pick and choose as a lvl 100 as you can beat down anything.

    Both way works, just that I found rare candy first to be easier and more effective in terms of time.
     
    I'm going to have to do more breeding if I want Will-O-Wisp, and I may not get the nature I need if I breed again. Any suggestions for a replacement move instead?
     
    I was just impressed I got the Nature I wanted first time, that's all. :-)

    Adamant gives +10% to Attack and -10% to Sp Attack, useful for Weezing's STAB moves and Explosion
     
    err... Weezing without will o wisp is like Skarmory without Spike/Whirlwind/Roar O.o; Sorry ~la! The only reason why Weezing can tank so well is not only because of its great type combination, but also the fact that will o wisp divides all opponents' physical attack power by half, making Weezing invincible against physical attackers who got burnt.
     
    Yeah, that's true. Might be back to the Day Care centre for me, I could always attempt to get a Modest Koffing instead. It's only 1/25 chance, can't take that long...

    Mental note: Must get a male Pokemon with Will-O-Wisp *hunts for a Duskull*
     
    will-o-wisp is great on weezing
    make sure u get it.
    I suggest
    Weezing[???]
    EVs - SpAtt 256, SpDef 256
    thunderbolt
    will-o-wisp
    chestorest/haze/explosion
    flamethrower
    [note ground types and this move set are at odds - however WoW should give u a great advantage]
    or frosty's version
