    To trade with someone using the WiFi, do you have to be friends with them or something, or you just go into the Wireless Trade Corner and there'll be people there and you communicate with people at random. Hmm I really want to understand how it works.
     
    nope you have to add their friend code. they need yours too.

    you must regster them in your palpad it's an item you well get in the game when you firs conntect to wi fi it well gave you a friend code or fc for short ppl share there fc's and they go online you well say the name of the playiers your regsterd if the are online you well say a trade icon near them which means they want to trade if there is a battle and lv50 icon it means they want to battle at lv50 if there is a battle icon with lv100 on iy it means they want a lv100 battle if there was free battle it means they want a battle with a no lv rule which well let all your pokemon battle at the lv's they are now if you don't see any thing it means they are waiting or they are just checking online hope i helped ^_^

    in the game you well get a key item called the palpad it well have three options in it
    friend roster:
    here you can check how many friends you have regstered there is a limit but you can delet uneeded friends
    add a friend:
    here you can add friends by entering ther fc codes and name names don't mtter as you can enter me as pat yanmega or any thing you want if some one wants a one trade i call them ?????? than after the trade i delet them

    here it shows your friend code if you haven't been online for once they friend code won't be there go online and re check you well find it
     
    You can add up to 32 persons to your Pal Pad.
