This week's task is to sprite TWO trainers. One being a hero/heroine and the other being their rival. You should have proper proportions and human anatomy so your entry has a better chance to be appealing to the voters. This week is a Scratch or Edit week meaning that there is the option to either fully scratch two different trainers or edit them from existing trainer sprites (scroll down the link). The edits should look a lot different from the original sprite in order for it to be seen as an entry to this week's contest.

Create some background information about the characters if you'd like including what Pokemon they use, their partner Pokemon, etc.

    Omits & Cases:
In some cases and themes there will be omits.

    • No gym leaders
    • No other trainer classes
    Main Rules:

    • One entry per person. You may update your entry until the end of the contest.
    • You can't enter if you picked the theme.
    • All work must be made from scratch (unless the current theme states otherwise).
    • No previously made work; original designs and concepts.
    • Please specify which image is your final.
    • You must PM your entry to Logiedan. DO NOT post your entry here. Voting will be done by polls the following week.
    This Week's Rules:

    • Canvas Size: 120x120 each trainer sprite.
    • Palette Requirements: 18 colours MAX each trainer sprite
    • Transparency: Optional (WILL NOT COUNT AS A COLOUR)
    • Animation: None
    • Other: N/A
    Deadline:
    Sunday August 11th 2013 @ 11:59 PM PST

*sigh* I'm not very good at scratching, or any type of art related to humans. I guess I'll try next week :)

You can always edit+fusion+recolour to make the trainers. Personally, I am not great with them either. It's alright if you don't want to participate though, I'm trying to alternate categories for the themes so different people can have a shot.
