    i dont know if anyone has one here but i want to get my wrist pierced and i am wondering if tis painful ? hard to look after ? anything else you have to look out for?

    Woah, dude, now that's something else! I've never heard of anyone getting their wrist pierced before!
     
    No..um..thanks. It sounds way to painful and I wouldn't want a piece of metal hanging off the side of my wrist. O.o;
     
    Lol everyone's views so far have been negative! XD I have a massive scar on my wrist from surgery and man, it was more painful than fracturing my leg and my skull put together.
     
    Never heard of it. It actually sounds kind of...dangerous? I mean if it gets ripped out you're in some definite trouble. I mean at least with an ear piercing or what ever else gets ripped out it can't kill you.
     
    It sounds like it would be painful to begin with, but if you really want to get it done, talk to a professional. They probably know more about how to take care of it, the risks, etc.

    But I personally, wouldn't do it.
     
    Yeah, if anything, talk to a doctor or a professional piercer or both before setting your mind on it. o_o;; I have to agree with everyone when they say it sounds dangerous. I've never even heard of a wrist piercing before; is it even possible? o_O
     
    Well, I suppose it's true to some extent and can exist, just look at the person with the record for most piercings, I mean, surely he must have around in the wrist/hand/arm area.
     
    Eh, it probably wouldn't be all that painful, unless of course you mean having it pierced THROUGH your wrist, like from top to bottom. That would hurt alot. xD It depends on how big you would want it, really. Larger ones would probably be less likely to get caught on something and ripped out, but hurt alot more during the actual piercing, while a small one would be easy to rip out, but not be that bad when you're getting it.

    If you're very careful, it probably would be ok. Just don't get it caught on anything. Ouch. xD

    I'm just wondering why you would want one. I looked them up on the internet and most of them look... ugly. I mean, it just seems like an odd place for a piercing, unless you're one of those people with like- hundreds of random piercings.

    Wow that would be really painful not to mention......kinda stupid. If you want to wear something on you wrist, just wear a bracelet. You'll have a lot better chance of the veins in your wrist NOT getting ripped open. It also seems like it would get caught on just about anything, thus increasing the chance of the whole getting your veins ripped open thing.
     
    ok so my mum said no to a wrist piercing and cheek piercing she even saidno to a snakebite !! she said that i could get etiher eyebrow lip nose or tragus (the lil part on the inside of your ear) soo im thinking of getting a anti eyebrow piercing OR my lip and tragus
     
    I'd say... don't get into derma-piercing.... at least long term.... piercing rejections are no fun, and infections are even worse.... by wrist, I hope you mean derma, not some sort of impaling device THROUGH the diameter of the wrist.

    one of my ex's was really into that weird stuff, and I distinctly remember one day when she ticked off my pops, and he told her to "Get a bar-bell piercing for your temples"... rofl....

    Um I'm pretty sure its Illegal for a person who works in the piercing industry to even try a wrist.

    Whatever happened to just a Plain Ring in the ear?
     
    like I was saying.... derma-piercing is legal, you just need a licensed person AND a willing person.. willing to put a piercing in basically a random patch of flesh....

    there's a bunch of problems with a wrist piercing... if that gets infected... it's definitely going to cause some damage to the joint.

    Personally. nah, I wouldn't do it. If you want to, you're your own person, and go for it, but you wouldn't never get my ass doing that <_<
     
    I"m guessing that this piercing is merely through the skin, not like a piercing rod skewering the wrist.... no one would skewer your wrist for you...besides... it'd definitely cause damage to the actual joint. you've got a cluster of arteries, tendons, ligaments and cartilage right in the actual joint... so I'm hoping\assuming that you mean a skin piercing, you know, a loop or barbell going through the extra skin.
     
    Regarding the first part I say go for it, if thats your style then I dont see why not. I would not suggest doing any sports though, you never know what might get caught and have a sudden pull lol.

    Those are your only three options left? I suggest just getting your eyebrow, heck if anything try getting your tongue pierced.
