Might as well get one of these up~
What I've been planning is rather simple: it would be very similar to the Fanfiction Challenges that used to go on, where a word was chosen and one shots (stories consisting of a single chapter) were written based on this term. However, unlike the FF Challenges, a winner would be chosen and hopefully the prize could be the Writer emblem. I doubt we'll get too much entries over the 3 day span, so I can probably handle judging on my own, but feel free to volunteer if you want to help out (plus it's probably better these stories are judged from more than one person's POV). The categories that will be judged based on grammar, plot, and how well the term is incorporated in the story, with each category receiving a score between 1 and 10. If there does turn out to be more than one judge, the scores will be averaged and whomever comes out with the highest number wins. In the case of a tie, I feel all leading participants should receive the prize (for effort).
Feel free to comment on my plan, add on to it or make your own.
