EDIT: This is for 3RD gen, forgot to mention that. I also edited my post. I now put in Hypno and Pinsir, and took out dragonite. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Okay, I have again gone back to the drawing board. I have not completed my team this time, I just need some guidance to help make this team half decent. I have these four pokemon so far:

    Kingdra@Lum Berry/Leftovers
    Modest Nature
EVs: 18 Speed, 240 Special Attack, 252 HP
    ~Rain Dance
    ~Surf
    ~Ice Beam
    ~Dragonbreath

Finalized at level 100. I'd be willing to toy with the moveset.

    Steelix@Leftovers?
    Impish Nature
    EVs: 252 Defense, 252 HP, 6 Attack
    ~EQ
    ~Rock Slide/Explosion
    ~Roar
    ~Toxic/Explosion

Any help is appreciated with Steelix. I won't replace him but feel free to toy with everything else.

    Dragonite@Leftovers?
    Jolly Nature
    EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Attack, 6 HP
    ~Dragon Dance
    ~Aerial Ace
    ~Brick Break
    ~Ugh...Steel Wing???

I AM NOT USING DRAGONITE. I AM REPLACING HIM WITH PINSIR. See below. I sure wish this was 4th gen! I need help with Dragonite! I'd like a DD set though. Mess with his EVs, nature, and moveset all you want. Would TTar be better for this?

    Umbreon@Leftovers
    Bold Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 126 Special Defense, 132 Defense
    ~Mean Look
    ~Baton Pass
    ~Confuse Ray/Wish/Toxic/Taunt/Substitute
    ~Confuse Ray/Wish/Toxic/Taunt/Substitute

    Choices Choices Choices.

    Pinsir@???
    Jolly Nature
    EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Attack, 6 HP
    ~Swords Dance
    ~HP Bug
    ~Brick Break
    ~Rock Slide

My new physical Sweeper. SD and then sweep. I could use umbreon to get him up against a favorable matchup, power up, and sweep. It has pretty good defense, so it could probably take a few normal-effective hits (unless it's slaking with hyper beam). I won't replace swords dance unless there is a better stat-up move. Same goes for HP Bug. Open to any suggestions, especially the Evs and nature.

    Hypno@Leftovers
    Calm Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 200 Special Defense, 58 Special Attack
    ~Reflect
    ~Light Screen
    ~Psychic
    ~Elemental Punch/Torment/Taunt

    or:

    Hypno@Leftovers
    Calm Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 200 Special Defense, 58 Special Attack
    ~Reflect
    ~Light Screen
    ~Focus Punch/Thunder Wave/Torment/Taunt
    ~Shadow Ball/Torment/Taunt

More and more choices. My special wall. Uh, the screens help too, especially giving Kingdra the defenses to survive CBmence on the switch...or is that strategy flawed?

Okay, as you can see incomplete and I (as always) need help. Now Kingdra can counter dugtrio....I think. Does Umbreon count as my Special Wall? If not, I need one. I'd a pokemon with reflect and light screen and then a sweeper, or am I being too closed-minded? If anybody has any ideas, please post. Thanks in advance.

Okay, I pretty much agree. At level 100, it has 353 HP (or something like that) and 297 special attack (modest). I decided getting rid of dragonite would be in my best interest. I was thinking of using pinsir as my new physical sweeper. HP Bug (the only time I'll ever use HP), Brick Break...I'll just do everything:

    Pinsir@???
    Jolly Nature
    EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Attack, 6 HP
    ~Swords Dance
    ~HP Bug
    ~Brick Break
    ~Rock Slide

That is what I plan on using. He has the same attack as heracross and better defense. Of course it has poorer HP and Special defense than Hera. I like it. How about you guys? As for a reflect/light screen passer, anybody have any good ideas? I'd rather not use claydol or Meganium. I'd like it to be fast, or am I being too closed-minded...again? Thanks.

Well, with no special attack EVs (this is 3rd gen, if I didn't mention that earlier) and a -Sp. Attack nature, it would do very little. That's why I said I wish it was 4th gen. I've decided to get rid of Dragonite for Pinsir anyways. I was thinking of using Hypno:

    Hypno@Leftovers
    Calm Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 200 Special Defense, 58 Special Attack
    ~Reflect
    ~Light Screen
    ~Psychic
    ~Elemental Punch/Torment/Taunt

I can always use physical attacks, but this was what I thought of. I honestly don't understand why Hypno isn't used much in 3rd gen. He can get barrier, both screens, and many stat-up moves. So that's what I thought of. I'll edit my first post to put Pinsir and Hypno in it.

Yeah, but I got rid of him. I could always run the trickery set if I decide to bring him back. I think mence uses that too. My first post has been edited BTW, so you can see the new pokemon I put in. That would leave my with one remaining slot. I kinda would like a fire type here...maybe Typhlosion? I need a skarmory and metagross counter. Charizard? I have no idea...
