I am in need of some new deck ideas.
What deck should I make? Attribute-wise, that is... I have a folio of "Next Level" decks revolving around the four attributes that are often unused, and I am looking to add to it. Right now the WIND-attribute deck is Mist Valleys with Alector, Sovereign of Birds, the FIRE-attribute deck is nonexistent, the EARTH-attribute deck is the one I posted with Geartown and Machinas, and the WATER-attribute deck is Ice Barriers with a focus on Raiho and Soul Exchange.
A - Next Level Earth [2.0]
The Scrap monsters are an Archetype set to be released in Duelist Revolution. All known Scrap monsters are EARTH attribute. In spite of their appearance and name, almost none of them are Machine-types. So far, cards for this archetype are found in the Duelist Revolution and Starstrike Blast booster packs.
B - Next Level Fire
For this I have several options.
Flamvells!
The Flamvells are a series of FIRE Attribute monsters whose effects include burning away the opponent's Life Points and increasing each others attack points. Many of their effects are triggered when they inflict Battle Damage. They are introduced in Duel Terminal with further support in Duel Terminal - Invasion of Worms!! They are introduced to the TCG through the Booster Pack Ancient Prophecy, with Flamvell Commando as a TCG-exclusive, with further cards coming through the Booster Pack Hidden Arsenal. Aside from being FIRE monsters, the majority of them have 200 DEF, and have support based around that.
A new sub-Archetype called the Neoflamvell will be released in the upcoming Duel Terminal - Pulse of the Trishula, hinting that the "Flamvell" may be making a comeback like fellow Duel Terminal Archetype; the X-Sabers/XX-Sabers. The Neoflamvell monsters however are more focused on Graveyard control, especially by removing from play your opponent's cards.
Volcanics!
Jurracs!
Lavals!
C - Lightsworn Hybrid
I have no idea what I'll hybridize with Lightsworns. I'll think of something though, definitely.
D - Something suggested by you, the reader.
...When you have no real preference for any of the above, use this option and post.

Flamvells!
Spoiler:

Volcanics!
Spoiler:
The Volcanic series is a group of monsters designated by having "Volcanic" in their names. They are primarily used by Axel Brodie. Most of these cards resemble military arsenal and are intended to be used with the card "Blaze Accelerator", which destroys opposing monsters by using Pyro-type monsters as ammunition.
Jurracs!
Spoiler:
The Jurracs, known as Juraks in the OCG, are a set of FIRE Dinosaur-Type monsters currently released only in Japan as Duel Terminal Promos in the currently-released Duel Terminal - Demon Roar God Revival!! (this is the 1st Archetype of Dinosaurs to be released game). Visually, most Jurrac Dinosaurs are brightly colored, usually with bright red and yellow extremities and blue bodies, resembling the various colors of flame. The common focus of their effects seem to be about gaining ATK power along with Tributing other Dinosaur-Type monsters to activate their effects as well (as always with other Dinosaur monsters). The Synchro Monster in the set, "Jurrac Giganoto" has the ability to grant additional ATK points to other "Jurrac" monsters on the field for each "Jurrac" monster in the player's Graveyard.
Lavals!
Spoiler:
The Laval monsters are an Archetype released in Duel Terminal - Vairon Descends!!. Their name seems to be a corruption of the word "Lava" (It's similar to how the Flamvell-archetype was named). All known Lavals are Fire so they can use Fire Support cards such as "Backfire", "Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai", "Molten Destruction" and be special summoned by "UFO Turtle". Also most of them are Warrior or Pyro type.
The main strategy of the Laval monsters relies on sending members of the archetype to the graveyard, then manipulating them for various purposes, attack gain, damage, etc. The 'dragon' of the archetype, Lavalball Dragon, relies on monsters being in the Graveyard to send cards on the field to the opponents hand. The archetype has overall great recycling potential and can work well in combination with Lightsworns or Dark World cards.
