    NatPlants, revised

OK, hello everyone. I've made a return to PC after being moderately inactive since summer ended, and I'd like to start off by posting my only deck and jem, NatPlants. I absolutely love this deck, because of it's potential to lock down an opponent OR beatdown, classic plant style. I hope you enjoy.

I don't have any Naturia Pineapple at the moment, so don't suggest that. I'm fully aware of what it does and how it helps.

    [19] Monsters
    [3] Naturia Bamboochute
    [1] Tytannial, Princess fo Camellias
    [2] Lonefire Blossom
    [2] Botanical Lion
    [2] Naturia Rosewhip
    [2] Naturia Cosmobeet
    [2] Koa'ki Meiru Gravirose
    [1] Grow Up Bulb
    [2] Dandylion
    [2] Naturia Pineapple

    [9] Spells
    [2] Mystical Space Typhoon
    [2] Miracle Fertilizer
    [1] The World Tree
    [1] Dark Hole
    [1] Monster Reborn
    [2] Book of Moon

    [11] Traps
    [2] Bottomless Trap Hole
    [2] Pollinosis
    [1] Mirror Force
    [3] Divine Wrath
    [2] Solemn Warning
[1] Seven Tools of the Bandit

    [15] Synchros
    All of the usual +
    [2] Queen of Thorns
    [2] Splendid Rose

    C&C. Thank you.

Nice to see you back, Apple Juice. ^^

Violet Witch seems a bit iffy to me, as does Twilight Rose Knight. Sangan and Glow-Up Bulb should probably be picked over those two... you don't really want to -1 yourself, and if you want to play Rose Knight you might as well go for Debris Dragon, right? Glow-Up Bulb however is excellent card advantage, and Sangan is just better than Violet Witch.

I would highly suggest two copies of Dandylion, as well as, well, more consistent Bamboo Shoot tribute fodder. 2 Cosmobeet and 2 Rosewhip don't really cut it for a deck focused on Bamboo Shoot. You could cut things like Gigaplant and Tytannial, which only really take up deck space and serve as dead draws some of the time. Lightning Vortex is not really a necessity in the deck, and I would say a 3/2 split between Wrath and Warning is likely a better idea, as Bamboo Shoot hates monster effects, especially Effect Veiler.

Gravirose should work very, very well here.

More Naturia monsters... like Cliff maybe? I'm not too sure, but Cliff sounds decent at the moment. Though, it IS Rock-type...

On another note... Pineapple would assist this build a ton. Especially since it becomes consistent Bamboo Shoot fodder. However it's not cheap and also Secret Rare, so I see where you're coming from... >:

    Thanks, old buddy. (:

Violet Witch and Twilight Rose Knight were kind of just add-ins, so they could easily be replaced. Sangan and Glow-Up Bulb sounds nice. I understand where you're coming from.

I've grown to love Giga and Tytannial, mostly because of their brute force. Another Dandylion for a Giga would be ok, though. LV has been shadowed by Dark Hole, so I understand that as well.

I do love Gravirose. Cliff would be nice if it was a better type, but I'll probably test it's consistency.

I know, I know. If I can get my hands on one I will definitely add it to the build.

Welcome back Apple Juice. Nice to see you back building your signature Plants again xD All I could say against this deck has already been said, so Gravirose, Naturia Pineapple etc. I've become increasingly attracted to plants recently, so I'll look at your decks, and see what to focus around. Your decks prove great learning opportunities.

    Thanks for your input, Firestar.

More rrs if possible puh-llease. (: Getting ready for a locals soon, and I really would enjoy winning.

You should definitely play Seven Tools of the Bandit. Somewhere in your build, try to fit at least 1 mainboard and 1 sided; Seven Tools is really, really powerful this format. It beats face versus Trap Stun which will be activated on your opponent's Standby/Main Phase to haze past your Traps, and it also beats face against Bottomless, Solemn Warning, Judgment, etc. This format is a Trap-dependent format, so definitely run some of that.

I'd need an updated decklist to give any more suggestions. XD

Yes, definately play seven tools. Can't remember another negating trap I though of. When I remember it, I'll tell you.

Updated 'list, wants more crit please. Thanks all for keeping up with the deck, it's really been helping out.

What about Snyfus? My friend who plays Naturia plants runs snyfus, but can't really say how well it works, since I haven't seen it much.

That's a card I've been debating. It's like Six Samurai, I guess, but I don't know if I necessarily need it.

My friend runs a very successful Snyffus Plant Synchro deck with 2 Snyffus and 3 Super Solar Nutrient... however I don't think that that's what you're looking for, haha.

Um... I just noticed. Play Formula Synchron. It's really good.

    Level 2 - 200ATK/1500DEF - Light
    Machine/Synchro/Tuner
When this card is synchro summoned, you can draw 1 card. During your opponents main phase you can synchro summon using this face-up card as a synchro material.
