YGO - Nurse Burn

[Mr. X]

I've ran this deck type for the past few years. Its been a few years worth of ban lists, and the orginal deck was reduced to junk.

So, time to rebuild it.

The main strategy is for either Simochii or Nurse to be on field and use TPOD or Gift Card to inflict damage.

Oiginally I used 2x Allure of Darkness for additional drawing, but its been limited and I think that MM would be much more effective then Allure anyway.

Upstarts and Takers are, imo, standard cards to include in this deck type. I had used Rain of Mercy in place of upstarts orginally, but switched back to upstarts since they provided extra draws.

Caius is a card that i've never ran in this deck before. Its effect fits this deck and it does provide brute force.

Im not so sure about DSS though. It was a toss in since I didn't have any better idea's, but I don't think it will prove effective in this format. Im thinking of replacing it and Heavy Storm but I need idea's. I might remove them and add additional Battle Faders for stalling, but im not sure yet.

Removed Stealth Bird for Battle Fader. This change has been a complete win in testing so far.

I've still been having some issues with dead draws. Cut 1x Soul Taker, MST, and Heavy Storm for 3x Dualities.

Kuribon is, imo, the best change made to the deck.

Still haven't used Caius though. Might remove it to readd either MST or Heavy Storm. Or add another Judgment of Anubis.

DDS I would exclude because it is a little unstable. It could be good at the time and then you take a big hit and die! XD
I am not a fan of Dark Cure either.

I would take out DDS and DC for 2x Dark Bribe. You need something to stop their card destruction.

Out of interest, how come you included Utopia since you only have 3 4*'s and they are needed in your burn.​

Both Exceeds are situational cards. I might use them, might not.

But yeah, he's pretty worthless. At least I can use Gachi as a way to get cards in the grave to spec Dark Armed. (I can use 39 for this as well, but he's much harder to field.)

Edit - Suprisingly, simochii has been more effective then Nurse. I'd have expected it to be the opposite.

I originally had Judgement of Anubis in this deck. Im thinking 1x Judgement and 1x Dark Bribe in place of DDS and DC.

I would be weary of Judgement because there are cards in this deck that can hurt your lifepoints, so a half LP would be a risky thing to activate cards on, as well as being attacked.

I would keep x2 dark bribes, but DN it up and test, test, test.​

Was talking about Judgment of Anubis, not Solemn Judgment.

It would be spell specific, but thats fine since the biggest threats are MST and, the card that has screwed me over so many times, Heavy Storm.

Fake Trap could be considered if you wanted to protect your traps from harm.

I was considering Fake Trap but im wanting to keep the trap lineup burn oriented.

I'll test the deck with Dark Bribe in place of DC/DSS and test it again with JoA in place of Bribe. Although I'd rather use JoA in the deck, I have a feeling that Bribe will be more effective.

Might as well go for a side.

Right now im thinking 3x Des Koala and 2x Judgement of Anubis. Might toss DSS and DC in their as well. Still need other cards to add though.

You should totally get some Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord and more Caius up in this lol. You can burn with Judgment of Anubis then Drop Van'Dalgyon for 1500 more burn! I've always wanted to do that to someone. I want to see Torrential Tribute in the main board.

As for the side, use stuff to hit the top decks. I'll list a couple of good cards off the top of my head. Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer, D.D. Crow, Rivalry of Warlords / Gozen Match, Light Imprisoning Mirror, stuff like that.

JoA to counter, kills your monster damaging you and then uh oh, spec Van and do even more damage to you.

And that is a combo that will make people rage-quit.

Anyway, im thinking remove Dark Armed for Van'Dalgyon.
