So with the new Psychic support in EXVT, I'm ready to play some Psychics. I've been testing with this build a bit.

Advice on stuff / etc would be welcome. I play Psychokinesis over MST for its added versatility (nobody cares about life points, nobody cares- er, yes, nobody cares about life points).

This deck wants to go for game very often, and those cards give me the peace of mind to do so without any inhibitions. Plus Cold Wave also stifles most attempts at a counterattack, and so...

I can't find fault with it really, so good job, but I'm not very good with psychics anyway, so yeah.

what about Brain Research Lab. It stops your Life points from being hit and gives you another summon

It's also a field spell and therefore very prone to destruction. It's like running 3 extra Solemn Warnings... which is pretty bad in a Psychic deck, since I'm running 4 effective copies of Warning (2 Overdrive, 2 Warning) already. I have some lifegain with my Synchro Monsters, but I don't want to overload on LP-payment cards, so...

Being a Field Spell, Brain Research is quite bad. If it was a quickplay spell, might be a bit better, but meh. LP gain is in the synchros, and Thought Ruler is a great way of presenting this. I gained 2300 LP by over beating a Brionac when I was in a spot of bother xD

Nrrrrrrrg. Brain Research isn't a bad card, just horrible in any kind of offensively-oriented Psychics. You don't want to die to an MST worth like 8000 points of damage... that would be lame. Very lame. Also it takes up deck space, which is another reason against running it main deck.

This is my resolution to play less effective copies of Solemn Warning (or rather 2000 LP payment cards). Krebons and Psychic Jumper have now become tech cards instead of primary Tuners, and Psychic Commander has been cut altogether in favor of the awesomesauce Mental Seeker (topdecking situation = you win). BTH is a fine card... though the Debris Plants matchup and so on has become a little / a lot more precarious, I'm still playing triple Book so that should help.

Psychic Overload is too slow... and I think I'm able to fit copies of Psychokinesis back into my deck again. Idunno. Thoughts?
