My obsession with the new Madolche archetype knows no bounds. Opponent kills my monsters, they go into the deck after being sent to the graveyard. My main problem lies in effects that banish my monsters. With this deck I wanted to have one of at least every card in the family, however, if you guys can help with a better build, that'd be great!

    Oh god.

I got tore apart by this archetype yesterday.

IKR!? My friend used it against me before I had any knowledge of it. And it's just the play style I like to use, too! No monsters in my grave. (Believe it or not I get attached to my cards and feel sad when they are sent to death. ;; )
So I sat long and hard and thought about a deck to use, and came up with this one! I'm more so in love with the art. c:

HUEHUEHUE why would you get torn apart by Madolche =[

I actually love the archetype, but it's weak and can't do anything to things with any amount of legitimate attack. Your choices of Eatos and Malefic Stardust are ... uh ... interesting, but you should add one more Butlerusk and possibly remove a Puddingcess. The Trap that does 300 burn is actually really bad - removing it is a good idea. Transmigration Prophecy is also really bad. Try adding more defensive Traps to stop your opponent from just running over your monsters - spot removal like Soul Taker can also be really good. (Soul Taker is OP vs Lightpulsar huehuehue)

HUEHUEHUE why would you get torn apart by Madolche =[

Never encountered that deck type before, and I don't run Meta decks.

Edit - This is a recommendation I make for pretty much any deck running a Malefic. Run a bigger Malefic beat stick in game 1, side out for Malefic Stardust game 2.

Madolche gets shut down by anything with a decent number of legitimate answers to Chateau, because it lacks staying power otherwise and can't beatdown properly even with Chateau. It doesn't have to be a meta deck that does the job (I don't run meta decks either : x).

Given that its still a relatively new archetype, yeah. I'll agree on that. Right now, a lot of different decks could beat it.

But once more people start playing around with this deck type, I'm sure that we'll be seeing some interesting solutions to these problems.

I could certainly use a TCG exclusive card. You know, one that doesn't suck. What are some of your ideas that you would place/remove? o3o

You have the option of either going heavy control or more monster-based. Puddingcess is a decent card for 1-for-1 trades or even 2-for-1 trades if you want to go Shrink / Lance / et cetera! Those can be very good in this deck because, you know, everything runs over your monsters.

Like Cirrius said, in a brute force contest your pretty much boned.

I'd, personally, want to get synchs out asap so swap Monster Reborn with one of your sided Ultimate Offerings.

I haven't seen Starlight Road used that much this format (might change next though) so I'd remove that, and move your second Warning into the main. Remove one of your generic extras for a Cyber End Dragon and side Malefic Cyber End Dragon.

Generic recommendation, but if you have a N39 Utopia in your extra, make sure to have a C39 Utopia Ray in it as well. (You proably already do though.)

    Thanks a billion, guys! <3
DN won't work on my computer anymore, so I'm saving up to pre-order a box of Return of the Duelist, and will definitely order all of the cards you have recommended, as well.

Yes, I know a LOT of monsters can pretty much wipe me out with power, so I've been digging and looking for other defensive cards and whatnot, and really appreciate all the help! c:

@Cirrus: The Lance you mention is Forbidden Lance, right? Just wanted to make sure I was looking at the right one before I added it to the edited deck lists.

The Malefics aren't that good and don't really do very much for your strategy - I would recommend going with a plethora of Traps (around 15 or so - triple Dimensional Prison, double Fiendish Chain, double Torrential, et cetera). Monster Reborn is vastly superior to Ultimate Offering, so don't take it out for that. It's not that the deck is unable to win an advantage contest, it's that the deck has difficulties dealing with monsters with large bodies, so cards like Smashing Ground, Soul Taker, and so on will help immensely.

The Lance I mentioned is Forbidden Lance, yes. (:3)

    -jots down-
What are some other (little more inexpensive) cards that you would recommend for dealing with larger monsters? o3o
Money is no issue, but I'd rather pay less for this deck than I already have to. :'D

Ooh, I was going to make a build of this. They look so interesting :<

I definitely wouldn't bring it to a nats or anything of the sort but it does have some potential. I like your build as well, but substitute tea break and a waltz for 2 dark bribe or something like that.

No I'm not bringing it to any competition or anything like that, but it is definitely a fun deck to use!
What else other than Dark Bribe would you add in place of Waltz?

Aside from Dark Bribe, Divine Wrath can also be very useful. Things like Compulsory Evacuation Device can also be very effective for pushing damage, as can Book of Moon. It depends on how experimentation goes.

I would highly recommend Effect Veiler regardless of what you do, though - it's a very powerful deterrent to a certain helmet-wearing rodent as well as the omnipresent Tour Guide.

Wouldn't Imperial Iron Wall be able to help with Rescue Rabbit, though? Especially with priority being gone?
But I am loving the Divine Wrath idea. Compulsory Evacuation Device is a favorite of mine, but i didn't know if it would go well with a Madolche deck or not, so thank you for the reassurance!

Veiler is effective against a much larger portion of the field and is thus suitable for playing in the main deck. It's a really good card too! (It's a LIGHT Tuner.) You usually can't go wrong with CED in any defensive Trap-based deck, and Madolche qualifies.

    Thanks for the info! c:
Definitely going to put Effect Veiler and RED on the order list, then. c:
