So we all know that with new cards such as Reborn Tengu, the metagame has shifted heavily in plant's favor for their synchro capability being hieghtened by Tengu. Agent Angels are also tier 1, for the same reasons, without the Tengu. Finally we have Six Sams, the autowin.

EDIT: Gravekeepers and Fish FTK are also Tier 1.

So now that we've estabilished all three of those, what else to do you think fits into the tier 1/1.5/2 area, and what do you think of the decks? What do you think will be tier 1 after the next banlist?

Gravekeepers and Fish FTK are in tier 1 as well.

There lacks a solid tier 1.5 zone; tier 2 is basically "everything that's viable but not tier 1 because it's not abusive enough of the game's mechanics". : v Examples are Gladiator Beasts, Hero Beat, Dragunities, and so on.

Konami is continuously printing broken cards, though, so I have no idea what deck will be tier 1 next format; possibly something involving the infamous RESCUE RABBIT (in a combo with EVOLKAISER RAGIA, PERHAPS : I).

Personally I almost quit after SS AW came about.

Gravekeeper's are a personal favorite of mine. Personally im hoping to make a Gravekeeper themed burn deck one day.

As for 1.5, i'd consider Glads at 1.5. While not as abusable as Sams, they are still capable of decimiating within a turn if made properly.

It can all depend on how you play it, for example sabers aren't topping as much as they used to but Luke lennard who attends my locals has topped every event he has attended this year including: winning ukaypro, top 8 at ycs Paris, top 16 at uk nationals and top 4 at nationals getting him his invite to worlds which shows experience proves more effective than nesecarily what deck you use.

As regards to tier 1 I think tengu plant is in there and tier 1.5 could also contain t.g varieties, dragunity and karakuri/machina which can fly into 3 bureido's in one turn and Otk the opponent.

Rabbit is disgustingly good. In Fish you can get Quasar first turn.

Honestly, once Rabbit comes out Glads will be Tier 1. Tengu is gonna stay Tier 1, and so is Sabers and GK.

    Yeaaaah pretty much.

Rabbit is basically as broken as Cat was. : S

DOUBLE ANDAL IS ACTUALLY GOOD /surprise because it's very good fodder with a decent body.

The whole point of Andal is too be able to Tiger it for Besti and or just tag.

...Unless that's what you meant by fodder.

Yeaaaah that's what I meant by "fodder" - you can use it in Fusion summons so easily it's ridiculous.

Set Bestiari? Tag. Set Laquari? Tag. etc.

    Hello Gadgets and Zombies.
These two have really taken off thanks to the new Exeeds now, as I am sure we are all aware.

I think Tengu will be hit with the ban list; maybe going to semi and Sams will be hit as well, but not sure in what way...

I'm not sure if Tengu will be hit. If it is, this will be the first time TCG has had a different list than the OCG, which is unheard-of.

Samurai... Shien Limit, perhaps? I'm not sure though; it's no longer the "omg i pwn you skilzles noob" deck but it has not and never will take skill to play (well, an unskilled player would make much the same decisions as a skilled player with the deck is what I'm saying - it's pretty autopilot-y). First turn Shien is still brutal.

Zombies are not becoming more or less viable because of the new Exceeds; they are becoming more viable because of Pain Painter. ESSSL is abusable with any RFG-ish deck and far more so, I'd reckon, with other decks than with Zombies (though it is pretty good with Zombies; it's sort of hard to summon is the problem).

Gadgets are hyped and I'm not sure if they'll be genuinely good or not, but they are hyped.

I will be watching the Mainsprings' potential, for sure.

I agree and Sam's is one of the few decks that I dislike, simply because it doesn't take skill, the strategy is obvious and if it goes bottoms up, a lot of the time, you are just stuck with no plan B.

Actually, I agree. PP is pretty much another Plage which is always good news for anyone running a zombie deck. However, I have a couple of new Exceeds and they fit very well into the deck, mainly the 4 stars and 3 stars. 4 stars, you can just simply Zombie Master, revive something, normally Goblin Zombie, Exceed into something, then when GZ is discarded, you get the search effect.

The one deck that my friend has made is pretty decent. It is still in the rough, that is for sure, but it involves Ultimate Offering, Gadgets and their searching and swarming ability, with Master of the Flaming Dragonsword's always being on the field. The combo is that with Master's effect saying:
When a monster is Normal Summoned to your side of the field, except "Master of the Flaming Dragonswords": You can increase that monster's Level by 1, and this card gains 300 ATK until the End Phase.

So UO allows you to swarm the field, have level 5 gadgets and easy summon for the good Exceeds.

I've seen Master of the Flaming Dragonsword. I am not sold on how viable it is, and it just seems like random tech to me. Gadgets, I feel, are theoretically good but I don't really see how they can explode in someone's face.

I haven't seen a Gadget deck go beyond the "Ultimate Offering, summon Gadgets, win game" thing yet. When that happens - if that happens - I will re-examine the deck's viability.

I've seen decklists w/o Ultimate Offering and they had topped regionals so yes they will imo. Also, Tengu is semi-limit, Dandylion for the possible ban, T.G. Limited, and probably Shien's Smoke Signal brought down. GKs aren't getting hit, Zombies are getting a boost to create better GENF sales.

The list will come out any day now. Calling new thread of it :D

    He means V-Jump.

Which also means, Apple Juice: my prediction about not hitting Tengu will most likely be correct. Because the TCG has never yet had a separate banlist.

If I'm wrong though, more power to you.
