[YGO] X-Saber deck for march 1st

So due to konami being well... Konami im in a slight spot of bother with my spells and traps and I badly need an idea of what to replace them with

Monsters: 20

3x emmersblade
3x darksoul
3x faultroll

2x pashuul
1x airbellum
1x gorz
1x hamster

No changes there at all but better suggestions are always welcome

Spells: 7

2x pot of duality ( I may go to three on this )
1x book of moon... So sad
1x dark hole
1x reborn
1x mind control
1x trunade

So definitely a change or two in the spell department

Traps: 12

2x g.e.c
2x seven tools
2x bottomless
2x warning
1x torrential
1x judgement
1x mirror force
1x trapstun

Bit lost here too, I will probably have to go trip pod although I don't really want to or I may just double up on trap stun.

Ideas???

I play double Forbidden Lance over Book of Moon... Just saying. It's not a bad replacement or anything; it's just... different. I don't know if you want to run it, but it does counter random things and / or serve as a Kalut/Honest of sorts.

Yeah that seems a pretty decent card but seems fairly hard to get a hold of but when I get one or two I'll try it out, I think I'll swap the trap stuns and seven tools around, whadya think?

I reckon Forbidden Lance seems a very good tech choice after books limitation. I will try to get hold of two to put in my decks. I would keep it two seven tools and one trap stun. Trap stun stops you from chaining as well. So seven tools definitely seems slightly better. Besides, 1000 lp is nothing.

...What? Trap Stun and Seven Tools do completely different things. Trap Stun is the new Cold Wave, and Seven Tools is the new Dark Bribe (from a few formats ago, rather).

??? I never said they didn't, I just said, I'd keep it 2 7 tools and 1 Stun. I also said that I think 7 tools is slightly better than stun.

Exactly. You said Seven Tools is slightly better than Stun; this is rather untrue. Seven Tools is defense, and Stun is offense. Stun can be used for defense, and Tools can be used for offense, but they're both a bit worse that way, so you wouldn't do that. Stun is slightly more powerful than Tools, but they're really and honestly incomparable.

Fair enough. Then, this shall be applied to my decks then. Would you advise 2Stun/1Tools then, for both me and Nightstalker?

I like to play 1 Stun / 2 Tools for defensive decks, and 2 Stun / 2 Tools for offensive decks that have the space. 2 Stun / 1 Tools is perfectly fine, however, and sometimes I just play straight-up Decree. It honestly depends on your playstyle, and so on... I don't have any real "recommendations". Test stuff out.
