(YGO) X-sabers but on a budget

    Here is my current X-saber deck:
    monsters: 20

    3x boggart-knight
    3x faultroll
    3x fulhelmknight
    2x darksoul
    2x pashuul
    1x airbellum
    1x gorz
    1x thunder king rai-oh (substitute for super nimble mega hamster- i may switch this for a ryko, ideas?)
    1x garsem (substitute for third darksoul)
    3x giant rat (substitute for 3 emmersblade)

    spells: 10

    3x book of moon
    1x cold wave
    1x giant trunade (negotiable)
    1x mind control
    1x dark hole
    1x monster reborn
    2x gold sarco (substitute for PoD)

    traps: 10

    2x bottomless trap hole
    2x gottoms emergency call
    2x seven tools (or trap stun, what is better?)
    1x judgement
    1x torrential
    1x solemn warning (i will take out trunade for 2nd one of these when i get one)
    1x mirror force

    You see the thing is, as much as i would like to have emmersblades and dualities i cannot as its a big waste of money. So i wanted to know what the best substitutes for these were, all sugestions welcome, but please can you explain them or i will never be able to use them the right way.
    i might actuall swap trunade for a saber hole as i know how important monster summon negation is. thanks!
     
    Well, I'm not sure why Super-Nimble is a problem, but I'm not sure Rai-Oh works in this deck very well. It ruins Darksoul completely. The rest though, on a budget, looks quite good.
     
    most people that have a hamster wont trade it as they are lightsworn runners, thunder king isnt as much of a problem as youd think as i'd not be foolish enough to play one while the other is out and i only have 2 darksoul, i prefer that to ryko as ryko causes mass damage as it pops one and then allows them to completely pummel you unlike rat/emmersblade

    Yeah, agreeing with Fire here. Hamster would be better, and it's the same $ as Rai-oh... I think. I'll have to check. :x

    I'm not an X-Saber expert, Cirrus has that title, so I don't have much else to say. never seen a budget X-Saber before, very interesting idea.
