This is my first time writing a poem on here so, here goes!

You Are in the Way of My Destiny


The open sea calls to me
Just me and a glorious boat,
I would travel the seas and the oceans
But I am stopped,
Because you are in the way
Of my destiny.

The highest peaks sing to me
Climbing high into the clouds,
I could see anywhere and listen everywhere
But I am stopped,
Because you are in the way
Of my destiny.

The humid jungle beckons for me
To come and watch the wonderful wildlife,
Fascinating it seems to dine with an animal
But I am stopped,
Because you are in the way
Of my destiny.

So mighty and strong
I have failed to sneak past you,
I tried and tried again
And I have come to this conclusion,
That your destiny is twisted and in turmoil
And that you are in the way of mine.


Wow. I did not think I could come up with that in half an hour!

can someone change the name of this thread to
