    A coinciding series with the protagonists from Black and White as the stars. I guess they keep Ash and Pikachu as the Anime is clearly now aimed at the younger audience, so why don't they make one for us big kids?

    I guess that's what the Manga's there for. Penny for your thoughts?
     
    Thats what I thought when I saw the picture of the new protagonists figures on serebii...
    It would be much better and freshen up the series if you ask me... :\
     
    You know what'd be really cool? People stop *****ing about this subject all of the time. They don't make a show for "big kids" because they're targeting children; not "big kids". If they were targeting "big kids", then they would make a show for "big kids".

    Secondly, Pokémon Special isn't aimed at "big kids". It's aimed at the younger audience and if you like Pokémon Special then you like something for a "younger audience".

    This is what irks me all the time. People, Pokemon Special is aimed at younger kids. People are always going on about how it's so mature, but if you look at every other shonen manga out there you'll see that it's actually quite kid-friendly.

    Actually, most kids tend to go through phases of liking certain things more than others. Based on trends or just personality. Sometimes its periodic even. Although don't take my word for it. I only base that from personal experience and observation from my brother and his peers.

    And although I like this idea, I realistically see very little likelihood. Maybe if the fanbase starts to grow in that demand...

    I suppose you're correct, but many of them come crawling back the second a new main game is released.
     
    will we ever see a more "mature" version of pokemon?

    one question i have always wondered is what is the next path the anime takes. Ash has remained the same age and virtually everything remains the same with each "saga" so to speak. When i say Mature i am not making sexual references what i am saying is that will there ever be a series of pokemon that will apply to the older fans of the series? like having relationships develop, a bit more violence etc.
     
    I wasn't talking about whether they would make it or not, I just said it'd be a good idea. I wanted to know if you agree or not I didn't want to know whether it would happen because we all know it won't.

    well i dont care i think they should, they did that with yugioh, look up 5Ds in japanese, not the america ****, the original japanese its for a much older audience than the last 2.

    so its not entirely impossible for pokemon to copy the idea, they did rip off duel masters god cards and just called the [insert pokemons name]LEGEND

    why not? its not a bad idea, might as well, theyd get more money out of it.

    It's possible that they'll end up losing money as well. Little kids will still watch it, and soccer moms would throw a fit over it. Any Sonic players remember Shadow the Hedgehog? Remember how great that went? It was nothing more than violence, guns, angst, and the word "damn". It was a horrid game that tried to make the franchise more "mature" but ended up being nothing more than complete and utter fail. A mature Pokemon anime could end up just the same.
     
    very true on that reference kirbychu.

    some things are ment to stay young. and if the person happens to be young at heart then they will remain.

    some people think that because anything is fantacy that its for little kids, and thus assuming anyone who does do it is a little kid.

    I've learned to brush this off being in high school and tend to keep my pokemon buisness between me and other people who do it.
