You, Yourself and... Pokemon??

    I was wondering what evewryones A/S/L is, and if people could post some stuff about them that everyone here may be interested in. (pokemon related some how...)

    For Example;
    I'm male, 15 and i live near London.
    I first got into pokemon when i was in year 7, so i was 11. The first episode i saw was the first and the first time pokemon was ever shown on 'normal' tv in the UK. It used to be shown on SMTV Live (a kids breathfast show) in the morning. I always though pokmon was really kewl, but the anime was naff and so was Ash. Him and pikachu to me where so crap...
    A year later i got pokemon blue and i loved it to bits. Later that year i attended the pokemon league at Crystle Palace park (which isnt far from my house) and won 4 battles straight before a long and tedious defeat which lasted 14 minuites. I went with two of my cousins, Danny, who got as far as me... and Luke who wussed out at the last minuite when he was told mew wasnt alloud as one of your 3 pokemon.
    My squad consisted of manually trained pokemon only. I never used the rare candy cheat, which made my pokemon in the 80's far stronger than most peoples lv 100's. I took Mewtwo, Lapras and Gengar.
    When pokemon silver and gold came out i got silver. Wasnt that impressed with the newer pokemon, but recently i've got back into pokemon.
    I love drawing them, always have. I think my all time favourites are Charizard, Scyther and Raichu.

    So thats me, myself and pokemon... Now lets here about you, yourself and pokemon!!?? :)
     
    Ewwww...I hate SMTV!
    It is such the worst TV station...but maybe ATV is worse...

    I'm female, I started to play Pokemon since I was 10.
    The 1st episode I saw was those Growlithe w/ police thing. I watched it in Taiwan.
    I then watched the English version from 10th episode to 50th episode in Hong Kong. Cantonese version 51~7? in Hong Kong.
    I didn't watch any further because something is wrong with the TV station, stopped shhowing it.
    I travel along between countries, but I just don't like TV.
    Especially SMTV! It drives me on my nerves!

    SMTV introduced me to pokemon, so i give it that. Other than that, indeed it it ****. But oh well, i dont watch much tv now anyway. I'm a DBZ otaku who hasnt seen hardly any of it due to the fact i dont have sky/cable tv. :(
     
    I don't think I've watched Sky1 channel b4...

    Well, TVB introduced Pokemon to me, but it stopped showing it 3years ago.
     
    I am male 19, living in the USA, specifically in Michigan north of detroit.


    My favorite pokemon is Psyduck, cuz I love how funny he looks when he is confused, and when he says Psy? duck!? Pikachu is next on my list, followed by most of ash's original team.

    I first learned of pokemon during the summer between 7th and 8th grade. I guess I was 13 at the time. It was the summer of 1998 if I counted back correctly. I guess the Pokemon was just starting to get really big. Not positive, cuz it was so long ago. Anyway, I loved the show and the idea of pokemon. I guess I have always hated growing up and I guess my chilchood used pokemon as a last chance to grab onto being a kid and just wouldn't let go.

    When I got a little older, 16 and 17, some of my friends in the neighborhood, that I played with were 2 or 3 years younger, which was greate, cuz I could like pokemon infront of them and not get teased. But that eventaully faded. Now, years later, I secretly love pokemon, but often can't enjoy it openly around friends or family.

    It just feels a little weird being 19 and in love with pokemon, but hey, I don't think I am that weird, cuz your all here too, which makes me feel at home here, at PC. Over the years, the show has made me cry and laugh, with drama, suspense, and a wish of actually being there. I think thats what draws me to pokemon, an Idea of wouldn't be awesome if I could really be there.

    Before getting to old, I was able to get a few pokemon games, yellow, pokemon stadium, when I was still on the boarderline of being a kid: and not strage to like pokemon.

    But with getting older, I have been able to revive my secret passion for pokemon in the last year. Now that I have my own credit cards, I can buy pokemon stuff on the Internet, and have it shipped without anyone knowing. I have bought Pokemon cards of ebay. As well as Pokemon snap, other games, and even a pikachu n64 system.

    I can now enjoy pokemon more, of course when no one is home. I know some of you think I should be open about liking pokemon, but understand, not everyone is as bold or outgoing as yourself.
