I use Ubuntu Linux. In my opinion, it the best Linux distro I've used. I feel that Linux is much more user-friendly, more stable, and more secure than Windows or Macintosh. Linux feels much better then the other two. Also, I found out that there are such a thing as a Windows Fanboy!

Although I do not actually use it, what I have seen with Linux is great. It does not have those annoying pop-ups down the bottom which Windows XP has in which you just want it to shut up.
"Removable Hardware Drive found" No crud Captain Obvious!

And then if you have the version I started with, after like, 30 days, it asks for that annoying thing (I forgot what it was) and it took two days before I could use my computer again in which I had to download everything, and get games off our server again, I had lost because of it.

And I have no idea why everyone likes Microsoft Word and Publisher and what not. (Kinda offtopic but anyways). In computer class, we used new computers in which the school had received and we were doing Mail Merges. So yeah, you right 1 to 1, and it prints out 10 if you have them all! So we established you had to click out of the box for it to work.

Windows XP SP *sigh* 2, I'm a windows man, and with one PC it's what I live by.

I use Windows XP... Yes I'm guilty... Although I do plan on switching to Linux sometimes soon. I think I use XP because I'm so familiar with it, not because of the features or whatnot. Although with my new computer I plan to put Linux on it, XP is starting to annoy the hell out of me.

I'm fine with Windows, but also like using Linux or Solaris when I can. Mac OS just doesn't cut it for me, it's so user-unfriendly after being a Windows user all my life.

I actually could like to use Mac OS X alongside my current Windows machine. Mac OS X is definitely more stable, and some of it's features are worth a look (like that new Spotlight feature in Mac OS X 10.4). However, Jedi_Amara is right - there are definitely some usability issues for Windows users on the Mac, as there are almost no standards in between them.

Windows XP, simply because Linux is ugly and Macintosh is? no.

Anthony, why were you awake after midnight? XO

I'd definetly want WindowsXP as my OS, but currently I have to stick with my buggy Windows ME. And I tell you, it's very buggy. I think I haven't had a day free of cursing Gates and Microsoft into the deepest pit of hell during the last year.

    XD!
Will since I know about computers, I'll try and do that for ya Jake XD
I have a Windows XP (Home Edition, unfortunately. I prefer Professional, but that's just me.) SP2, and it uses a Athlon Processor (I don't exactly see a significant difference from Pentiums but hey, it's better than when I had to use a Pentium II, a year ago o_o)
Okay I guess it's okay, but I want to see how Windows Longhorn will run (For those who don't know, Windows Longhorn is the next Windows Operating System thing..XD It's supposed to be 3D, and it's coming out next year in May)
I really don't like Macs though. They kinda bother me...

Windows Longhorn sounds good, do you have any idea when its scheduled release is. I was thinking that I'm going to buy a new computer before I go to school again, and it would be cool to have the 3D OS on it :D Earning the bragging rights XD

Anthy: You don't HAVE to throw that in my face all the time, you know XD

Yup. It's due to be released May 2006.

*sigh* longhorn. its sooo evil, I cant stand it. its more buggy than ME. When I was installing it, I had to re-install it 8 times to get it to work right. Norton Crashes it, I think I am going back to XP.

I was raised on windows 95-XP (yes, started using computers when I was about 4 or 5) so anything else would be way to abstract for me. I have tried a friend's Linux, I'd admit it's a nice operating system but it's just strange for me.. Same with Mac, its a little better though ^_^. I am to used to windows to go to anything else.

Wuss. I was raised up on 3.1 XD I was SO happy when I got 95 (Yes it was better than 3.1 since I was 7)

On my next computer upgrade I'm DEFINITELY putting Linux on. I'll keep Windows for games and stuff. As soon as they start making games that support Linux Windows is GONE!

what I use and what I choose are two different things... I choose Mac OSX just for its overall design and layout... how everything works smoothly... lol, and that os will never freeze on you... XD... I also like the unix underlying base so you can also use some linux software, lol.

I use windows xp just mainly because I'm forced to, most of the applications I use are Windows propreitary and I've found solutions for most of them but some I just can't, ... so there you have it, gates has most software developers developing for windows only which forces me to use windows only... well, I do have one mac in my house but the rest of the network is windows... -.-

Well... since my computer is now a dinosaur (it being 5 years old ><), all I'm stuck with is the pitifully useless, buggy and poor excuse for a Windows OS...

    WINDOWS ME!!!

It got infected with a viurs so easily! >< **** IT!
