My best guess is Ash will switch Aipom for Buizel getting him a water poke and he obviously gets Chimchar as said by Bulbapedia.

That leaves one space open. I would either guess Shellos line or Snover line. I could imagine him with Snover. i can already imagine the plot too: He loses to whatshername, goes to Mt. Coronet to train, finds a snover, catches it after he is caved in with it and it saves his life or something, and then battles whatshername with the last round being snover against Abomasnow and snover winning even though it clearly sucks more. Or it will evolve in the last round. It sounds pretty realistic doesn't it? Either that or he catches it before the first battle and loses and then it evolves during his second match.

Brock will continue his baby roundup and go ahead and catch a Mantyke. James will maybe get a baby chingling from his chimecho. Dawn will probably get a Glameow or a Murkrow ( doubt it because Paul has one) and battle Zoey's Misdrevious. Jessie will either get a Stunky or Skorupi or the evos. I could imagine dawn with cherrim lol. I could also picture Jessie with a bratty Rotom, but we already passed the Old Chateu. She might get one anyways.

As for all the new evos, I bet ash will go back to johto after they release the anticipating gold and silver remakes and that's when all those pokemon will appear as most of them have a johto pokemon in their evo chain. I bet they will also find Max and he will get that Ralts from Advanced Battles and evolve it into a Gallade.

I also think that ash will get more than six pokemon this time around.

Those are my best guesses.

I could see Jimmy with a Snover, as a nice proxy to Cacnea. After all, he does well with Special or, really, Grass types, so it would be logical, wouldn't it? Not to mention, how it could hug the stuffing out of him. Heh.

I'm trying to think for Jessie, but I'm currently drawing a blank. Darn.

Well honestly I could imagine James with a Probopass. LOL. WE always has really goofy pokemon.

Jessie, like I said before, will probably have a Skorupi/Drapion or a Stunky/Stunktank. I could also imagine Jessie AND Dawn with a Burmy. And then one of them would get Mothim and the other would get Wormadam.

Well that does make sense, I mean I can see Dawn and Jessie seeing Burmys they like.

Ash and Paul will meet up in the Pokemon league and battle each other, I can already predict with who
-Pikachu vs Elekid or evos.
-Infernape (one of his very few fully evolved poke) vs Torterra

Ash will win and change Paul's ways for the rest of his life and becomes a nicer guy (of course)

The very next round in the league Ash gets beat by some nobody

Staravia will evlove into Staraptor in some crazy battle and at the end Ash will release him (have we seen this before?)

Dawn doesn't win the contest finals

They'll finish this arc and Pikachu still won't evolve

Since the Cacnea trade is STILL speculation, as gardenia's cacnea was removed from bulbapedia, and is only james' cacnea now, I'm betting one of 2 things:

James will trade Cacnea for a Victreebel.
Cacnea will evolve into Cacturne.

On other characters....

Dawn will capture a Glameow as her mom uses one, and is bound to love them.
Brock will capture Hippopotas.
Ash will obtain Ambipom and then Gastrodon/Mantyke. (Or Trade, I still say evolve =P)
May will return in the snowy region, possibly to save pikachu when team rocket tries to kidnap pikachu in the snow, and Eevee will evolve into Glaceon.
