Your thoughts on Kanto: Back then and Now

    through the games of course. Seeing that kanto has been in all 4 generations, what are your thought on it?

    Back then my first encounter with kanto was in my gold version. For starters I didnt even know it was called kanto. I thought it was a pretty cool place. Loved the music and it was nice seeing Professor Oak again :D.

    Sinced I liked kanto a lot on my gold version I decided to get the red and yellow versions, I enjoyed team rockets appearence (espically in yellow) It was nice to see the full fleged original kanto. Again loved the music. To me it automatically makes it a classic :]

    FR/LG, I gotta give props on this one, loved the new features in kanto, and the music was off the top. It gave me that fuzzy feeling inside. I loved it.

    I dont own HG/SS yet, but Ive seen videos of kanto on youtube. Well it's hard for me to say this but Im a little sick of seeing kanto. Maybe because I have played in the region way too much. (its in 11 games, I own 6 of them, started them over god knows how many times) Its still a pretty good region, and if they include it in the 5th gen (who knows) I seriously dont know how I will react.

    IMO Kanto was good when it first came out, and it's still a pretty darn good region today :]
     
    Kanto, I only saw the series from episode one, so... Its rocks, then I got FireRed, it was good too... IDK overall, I think Im tired of seeing them LOL
     
    I love that Kanto is in all the games. I admit some of the places are getting kind of old while others I can be all nostalgicy in, lol.
    I feel all accomplished every time I go there, so when I finally got FR/LG I was conflicted on how I felt. (I didn't own and Gen 1 games.) lol.
     
    I loved the Kanto Region and always have but I have not gotten into Pokemon all that well so I actually did not get any of the games until Fire Red came out but I started watching the show in late 2000 after a friend of mine told me about the show. Back then I did not understand it all too well but now I am a fan of the series the games and the cards.:)
     
    It's getting old, I destroyed the place in 98' on Red and Blue, remember seeing it in like 1999 when the anime first came out in America, destroyed it again in like 2001 on Silver, then one last time in 2004 on Fire Red.

    To be honest, I don't even want to go to the place anymore. It got boring, they need to show Johto more I love that place.
