    'Hayo!

Mm--so I was talking to my friend Scootah earlier (he's a member on this forum since today, as you may know) and he told me that if you post YouTube videos (= embed) in a spoiler tag, it won't play when you click anything.

I went to check, since that's how I made [my thread] and surely enough...they won't play!
Is there a solution to that or what am I supposed to do?

Because the problem is, that with THAT many videos, I don't wanna embed them all without spoiler tags, since otherwise the site takes forever to load; or specifically the scrolling down takes forever, which - in the end - is gonna turn people off to even look at the content.

From what I understand, that's also why Scoots posted links to his playlist, as opposed to embedding the videos.

Can we fix that somehow or what are we supposed to do exactly? o_oa

    Spoiler:

Working fine for me. I used [youtube]zzXxmWvh3TQ[/youtube] rather than the full URL, though, so maybe that's your problem?

Oooh, I see what you did! =O

So on here it DOES work like it used to on my PHPbb, where you had to only put the VIDEO ID in between the YouTube tags, yes?

I've worked with vBulletins before and you HAD to put the whole link, not just the ID, which for me was "different", but you know.

Huh, I guess it would be helpful to actually put that as help on the tags themselves somewhere, maybe. Because it doesn't say that it only wants the video ID.

I'll go fix my thread now, in any case. Scoots actually had no idea either.

    Thanks!
I'm actually glad that this works like on my old forum. Easier for me to remember.

Though, without Scoots I wouldn't even have known that my videos didn't work in the first place.

The way I did it screwed up the BBcode. I went to the "simple view" when editing, and there was basically a spoiler tag; YT tag AND an URL tag squeezed in between there too. LMAO! I fixed it now though.

I'll tell Scoots how to do it too. =) <3
