Yeah, I draw sometimes, wanna fight about it?

Never mind, here are some pic's I drew:

I know that he's standing diagonally, I'd finished drawing it before I realized... And I'm horrible at fists... I know... also I know I drew his ear in the wrong place, don't yell at me about it...

A closeup shot of the same guy.... I did it in five minutes... I know it'll be bad...

*cringes in fear of criticism*

Also, here's a new picture, in two different formats, the first one was scanned as a color picture but I didn't like the look, so I scanned it again as a black and white.

The first one's done better than if I drew something similar to that.

Either way, the art's not that bad.

OOT, when I scan in my paper lineart, it's always in grayscale. (not just because of quality, but to limit the file size)
OfC, then again, I haven't drawn anything in quite a long time...

Straighter lines? O_o Do you mean to make the lines less choppy or to use a ruler when drawing people? lol

nononono, no rulers, no straighter lines none of those...

Look, i know you're a begginer and all but try to bear with me xD When you make the outlines, try to make it in one try, don't pull you're pencil untill you're done with that area (hope you understand that :[) let's put and example, in that last drawing of yours the face, from where the earing is to the other side where the hair is you should do that in one try, if you can't then erase and try again... That makes the lines look smother and its the way most the great anime and manga artists do it (since it works :] you should see some of my work later on when im not as lazy and draw some more lol).

Same for the rest of the drawing... Also another tip is sketching... Take a lighter gauge (say an H6) pencil and draw the lines you're main drawing will be on, go erasing and fixing details and then use a darker one (i use a B2 but people like B4 also for this) and make the outlines more visible like i said first, in one try...

You're style is good and can be greatly improved, this drawings screams talent to me, please take my advices and practice sketching and study the human body since i see that's what hljlike to draw :3

Another thing is, in the first post you said the closeup pic was done in 5 minutes, take you're time to draw things, that's another key to victory. If you know it will come out bad if drawn in 5 minutes then take longer and focus on drawing it better on :] (god i should open a drawing school in here =.=)

I was joking about the ruler thing.

And most of those lines there are my shading.... I'm like a child and will sometimes leave the lines lol.
