    zel, in shiny gold, I like the different dungons and hollen pokemon. Would you able to finish your pokedex?

    • Wow, Zel. 140 pages, and still counting. I think that this romhack, once completed, will simply raise the bar on future hacks. I have been here quite a while, and have seen Shiny Gold progress from a small, almost casual work-on-weekends kind of game to a huge adventure into the depths of Johto.

    Just out of curiosity, will Viridian Forest be that stupid hedge maze, or will it be the real deal?

    • Well, you guys gave me a little nostalgic moment, considering how the hack started, and looking now how much it has gone through... XD

    OK, Cursed: Well, I plan to make it look as it did in Gold, not as it did in Fire Red, because, we've had enough of FR's Viridian Forest, right?

    jonicito: Well, I hope to be able to put every single pokemon there is, I haven't counted but I think I put like 200/250 or something close to it... (Of course catching Hoenn pokes is something really difficult, but adds to the game)

    edini: Actually, you can find it in both ways. But I don't know which would be faster, since there's luck involved.

    OK, do you remember I told you I was able to change the TMs? Well, I have started to do the changes, by teaching the pokes which TMs they can learn and which they cannot. So I'll put the list of Shiny Gold's TMs in a spoil just in case you want to see it in-game.

    If you see it carefully, you'll notice it's like a "merge" between FR and Gold's TMs list, I just decided to take a few of Gold movements that I didn't like or sounded too repeatitive by their effects. Hopefully it would be a good list (and if, in the future, the Move Tutors could be modified, then I could add a few other moves from Gold that I took from the list)

    That's all, I will also write a guide on how to modify the TMs when I finish doing my changes (it involves a little hex in the process, so keep practicing ^.^)

    I played the preview, it has almost no glitches and its cool!!!
    But I wonder if this will help or not.. I think it would be cool, if they sold evolution stones at goldenrod, so that I could evolve growlithe...
    and for the pokedex, maybe you could make a trading center, where you could get kadabra and haunters and stuff (You know, they evolve when they are traded)
    Anyways, your hack rules!!!

    Actually better yet, trade evolutions should be now level up evolutions. Espeon and Umbreon Evee forms should be stones.

    This was actually used in Emerald+ by the way :P
    Since Fire Red has no time, that's probably the only way, and since it's a hack of Gold, it should have Espeon and Umbreon.

    Eevee already evolves into Espeon and Umbreon with the Sun and Moon stones.
    Also, trade pokemon like Kadabra, Haunter etc evolve at level 40.
    Not sure about the King's Rock, Metal Coat evo's though....

    • If I remember right, someone said that scizor is found 1% in the grass below lake of rage, and slowking, politoed, and kingdra are evolved thru water stone.
    Not sure about steelix or porygon2 though...
    zel, how does clamperl evolve into huntail/gorebyss?

    lol, Poliwhirl evolves to Poliwrath with Water Stone =P

    if your still having trouble with the legendary dogs poping up in the wild
    why don't you just stick them in a very hard to reach place
    (eg: suicune very deep in whirl island)
