    i think ive seen this map before when i was reading this thread...

    well...
    rating: 6/10
    reason: i like the shape of the map and there are some good iddeas (eg the house on top the hill). but i notice several tile errors (path on the top-left hill, grass on the big hill) and i dont like the big amount of stones, flowers and bushes all at the same spot
    suggestions: remake the border of the map and fix the things i mentioned above
    I know what you mean about the errors on the map around the cave especially. this was cause my pc kept messing up every time I went to fix it it said rom not found.

    Reason: All in all it looks really good to me, just some of the grass looks a bit square and on the bottom left the circle of flowers is unrealistic. also there are some tile errors at the hill and the ledges. And the mountain/hill looks a bit empty
    suggestions: fix what i mentioned above and make the map a bit less square (i should do that with my maps too)

    @Neti: Those grass tiles are mine, and I do not let anyone use those particular ones, except for DarkPegasus (of whom they were created for. Link is in signature). Please credit me for them, and I am requesting you replace the tiles and repost the maps (you do not have to, but it would be greatly appreciated by both DarkPegasus and I).

    Thank you very much. Yes, I did notice that you posted you didn't know where they came from (otherwise, I would have treated you like a thief). Anyway, I would be happy to rate your maps (Just please do not get mad at your scores. I have extremely high standards. I do provide a lot of advice with each rating, though).

    Map 1
    Rating: 5.5/10
    Comments: With this map, I noticed that you just edited the original Route 1 map, which is not very good. I did notice, though, that this route requires you to encounter wild Pok?mon, which is very good (and makes the map fairly playable), though at the expense of aesthetics. There is too much grass on this map, and you might want to remove a lot of it. The ledges are an okay touch, though they would be much better if they were not so straight. The flowers are also too abundant, and are perhaps a bit too scattered. The medium-sized trees (the ones that are 1-tile wide) would have been better if they were more naturally placed and if there were more of them. Now, the path is a decent touch, though it would be a lot better if it were a bit more "bent," if you know what I mean. The rocks and tiny trees are a nice addition, though they are also a bit too over abundant. The map is also a bit square, you might want to add trees to the corners, as well as the sides.
    Suggestions: Remove a lot of the grass, remove and rearrange flowers, make the ledges a bit more naturally shaped (not straight), add more medium-sized trees and scatter them in a natural way, remove some of the rocks, remove some of the tiny trees, and give the map a more natural shape.
    Final Comments: Overall, this map needs rehauled. Next time, just make a map from scratch instead of editing an existing one.

    Its a pretty good map in my opinion.

    reason:its a great map and so are the palletes...but that doesn't matter.
    Lets see...the houses look pretty good but to me,that many windows is creepy.you made some tile errors on the map.and not just the pond one.
    there are rocks on the edge non-stop.And its barely noticable but there is a small brown dot on the water.
    Suggestions:take out some of the rocks and windows and fix some of those tiling errors.

    My turn i guess.
    But before i post i am not going to change the pallete!
    and i see the bridge error so don't point that out.don't count borders either.

    I made this route from scratch(celadon depr. store) and i made it because i'm getting pretty rusty at mapping.

    reason: i like complex maps too and i dont see many tile errors, only the ones you mentioned and above the left cave entrance. but even if its so complex it will still be too easy to pass this route, if you dont add trainers at key points (unfortunely you made only a map image without trainers).
    i really like the "bridges in the air" (dont know how to call em...), i didnt know they exist in FR (or did you make them on your own?).
    suggestions: take care about the thing with the trainers and the few tile errors and i think this will be a great map

    Otherwise the map looks great!
    Suggestions: Try to remove some of the rocks in the border, and please remove some of the windows xD. Try to change the house abit, because the roof of the house looks abit wierd due to its pallete.

    Reasons:You know, I can't give you full marks, its not fair xD. The map is simply fantastic, I have no words to describe it exactly. Its not too square, and I love the use of the mountains, and I love the placement of the trees. I love your creation of the bridges and various stuff, it just shows your great imagination, it looks fantastic. Well I guess I have no other good remarks....xD
    Suggestions: In some of the plain areas of the map, try to add some trees and some flowers just to not make it seem empty in any way. And you shouldn't have added any of those blocks on the bottom of the bridge coming from above the map, because it makes the bridge look like it isn't attatched to the mountain xD.

    Well, I did remove some of the windows, but, lol, The ROM's jacked-up:P The Rocks on the edge are not see-able through gameplay.

    Reasons: I love the silent feel of the map, and the placement of the trees, nice work! The pathways and the river gives it a nice feel, and nice work.
    Suggestions: I guess I don't have any suggestion....

    Reason: I like forest type maps xD Anyways, the map looks great, especially with the trees placed out very well and the ledges are well used. The map was abit empty but ohwell...
    Suggestions: Try not to keep the map empty, it feels sorta boring xD There are many places were there is emptiness, so try to feel up the gaps!

    Reason: Oh, its a lovely map. I love the way you made it! Simple but very nice. I love the placement of trees and those small hedges, well done. I like the way you did the pathways and the placement of the buildings. The pathways leading south, is a nice a add to the map. Nice work!
