    ya now thats a game, cant wait for them to release pictures of kanto and mnt silver, seems the kyogre groudon thing is something that definitely gives a sign, it seems nintendo is moving away from relying on sapphire/ruby to obtain the 3 gen legends, oh well hope these games are not dsi exclusive

    Nobody ever said that there were only one of each legend, in fact, we've already seen multiples. Three sets of dogs have apeared in Kanto, Johto, and pokemon ranger (fiorre?). We've already seen 2 sets of the birds in Sinnoh and Kanto. Multiples of Lugia and Ho-oh, one set in Johto and one in the Sevvi Islands. Not to mention we already saw a multiple set of the Hoenn Legends in Ranger... And I haven't played Shadows of Almia but I'm sure that there is multiples of legendaries there.


    Anyway, that's pretty cool, but Groudon in Soul Silver? That's really swaying me towards Heart Gold...

    I just have to keep telling myself that it doesn't matter and I won't use the legends anyway XD

    Yeah, they never said that there was only one legendary. You can know that by watching the anime. Baby legendaries, multiple Shaymins, and many others.

    Ontopic: The new art for Silver makes him seem kinda girlish (says my brother not me XD)

    I think they did a great job with redesigning Prof. Elm and Silver, they feel new, but still give you that nostalgic feeling.

    Silver looks like the love child of Mars and Giovanni so i really cannot get the nostalgic feel besides his jacket. Elm though is as careless as ever.

    I'm at least satisfied they did not revert on cutting Silver's hair short. If they did that, then Silver might have gotten the nicer guy appearance rather than it matching his current game personality. Actually, his shirt is my favorite part of him as it keeps his old look, but it brings it more to a modern style.

    By the way, is it me or is the new close up picture with Cynthia look a little different. I mean her OW sprite seems a little altered from that of what was in DPPt [I'm not sure, it may just be the scan giving it a different look a bit].

    I like the new character artwork. Especially Silvers, and his sprite looks good (from a distance that is). Although I wish Gold's backsprite could have been better, it seems too condensed. But thats not a big issue, I'll get used to it.
    Anyways, that looks like a time machine in Elm's lab.

    I didn't really feel like reading through the whole thread so someone might have already said this, but I personally do not like the ideas of the Hoenn legends and/or possibly Sinnoh legends. This is a 2nd Gen remake and in my opinion, they should keep it as close to G/S/C as possible. I mean, if these guys show up POST-National Dex, I'd be happy. I just hope they don't get integrated into the main story line.

    I think Silver looks awesome. Prof.Elm too, I'm glad they changed the TR Grunt, the old one looked so much like Jesse, I wonder what the male TR Grunt will look like. Probably exactly like the old one but updated grapics.

    D: I really don't want Groudon, I they've changed it around I think it would have made more sense like that. Groudon, is fire (sorta) and so is Ho-oh. Kyougre is water, and so is Lugia. Unless they were trying to get the opposite of the main POkémon of the game. Oh well at least I don't have to play Emerald, or trade them over from Diamond.

    I hope that they don't put the Hoenn legends into the main storyline, that would just ruin everything. Hopefully they come after you get the National Dex, because that would be after you beat the Elite Four.

    I agree, and puting them in would also ruin it chronologically... I mean RSE is also three years before GSC so the legendaries would already be caught (unless there is more than just one of each).

    I strongly believe all of this will be posted after the National Dex. Seeing Team Rocket around and all, it seems like they'll still be up to their usual crimes they committed in the original versions [Gold and Silver]. I'm not sure if it was stated in the scans, but even if it wasn't, the game would make more sense to hold it back until after receiving the National Dex altogether. Now there are new areas in the game, or so seen. So, maybe this time there will be seperate Elites however. With this, it'll allow us to get the National Dex earlier than before and it'll also enable peolple to get the loose new legendaries in the game as well as have enuogh time to get to Arceus. If this is so, then I think I'll like it, because it means two time the fun and maybe it'll give Kanto a chance at a story within it.

    Though, I admit Johto has been altered a bit, having some new Mushroom like location, Cianwood City getting a canal a propose, and a few other details. Seeing Johto expanded is a nice touch though, as the game did seem a bit too small even with two regions included. Still though, I believe the Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, and Arceus placements will be held until after recieving the Nat. Dex. As for why Groudon is in SoulSilver and Kyogre is in HeartGold, I think it is basically to follow the opposite lead purpose. It doesn't bother me, and like said it's really another reason for Nintendo and GameFreak wanting us to buy both versions over one.

    I think the canal area is new. That is too deep and far left to be Cianwood but why add it. Either way until we get a map we cannot be sure.

    I am getting Heart Gold now and since Groudon is in the Soul Silver then that makes my mind up.

    and i love how you can get groudon/kyogre & rayquaza :D, though i reckon kyogre should be for silver, and groudon for gold ;|
    hopefully they'll get their own caves in kanto? they could easily be in cerulean cave, cos nothing else was there last time and you couldnt go in.
    Rayquaza would probably be roaming, i can easily see that, the others, never.
    or they could give rayquaza its own tower on cinnibar island or something :S
