well, frankly i dont really like Gen IV, and diamond was my first DS game ever!

I'm honestly not too bothered by it, but then again I am not an avid, die-hard fan of Pokemon gaming. Hah! I like change and updated graphics when new series of games come out. I don't really have a problem with it at all! So long as not EVERY new Pokemon looks like some bad-ass wannabe Digimon. I mean they shoulddd still keep several cute ones in there, right? :P ... And I just enjoy the new graphics. Well... we'll see once I play the game.

In real life would you really fight with just one pokemon vs one pokemon
ALL THE TIME!!! no you wouldn't because that would become monotonous and old.

Yeah I think that as well :P.
We can't really say it's better game play wise compared to gen 3 or 4 but it is looking that way :P

What I don't get on the whole "Design" part of it

When Ononokusu came out ALOT of people said OMFG!! it's tooooo overdrawn!
but NOW when the new Deer and Stork came out people are saying they're too freakin plain...
and some of them are the SAME people that made the earlier comment

I was thinking the opposite. The PCs are older to attract the original 1996 audience that is growing or has grown up.

Man, you try to do that ****. You couldnt pull it off in 3 hours.

I think that 4 gen was the end of the line, seriously. this is just to much, i don't like the idea of triple battles, double battles were fun.
And why make another gear!? why not just keep the pokégear? And the new pokemon... i don't like them, they remind me more of digimon now. What I think is this is simply becoming to much.

We've still got the kinds of extra features that have come with every good-quality Pokémon game since Red and Green.
