    Ew bbq

Why would you do that? Just break your spleen and get out of PE for a whole month! Believe me it's worth all of the pain. Plus you get to pretend to be a drill sergeant to all the losers who had a wonderful vacation.

I had bbq chicken a few days ago, but I don't know of any bbq restaurants around here to eat at :/ which is a shame, I like it.

I never did anything to get out of PE and I always get bitter when people are like "I HAD TO TAKE A WHOLE YEAR OF IT D:" while I took 12 years of it because Illinois requires PE for every year you're in school aside from kindergarten.

I actually kinda miss it in a weird way because now I have to fit working out into my schedule where as during school it was always there.

I thought PE was really fun in grade school but I hated the working out. I somehow manged to not have any PE classes in high school and now I sort of wished I did looking at how much weight I put on since 8th grade.

You'd be that guy in PE that all the normal kids hates that way overexerts himself and makes everyone else work harder. >:/

At my school, the "normal" kids were band geeks, choir geeks, and athletes all at the same time! And, yes, I'm aware that this is the exception to the "rule" most of you here have.

I did enjoy going hard at PE in the sports, since it was my best means for exercise and I liked competing even though I was the worst of the athletic students (or the best of the non-athletic, depending on how you look at it - I was on sports teams only half of my 8 middle and high school years). My favorite sport to play was lacrosse.

You were graded for effort, attendance, and actually changing into something appropriate for exercise at my school, so it was generally an easy A if you even were only half-trying, at least at my school.

I'm heading up to New York and to Time Square for the fireworks. More likely, though, we'll have fun touring Manhattan and then park somewhere in New Jersey to watch them over the lake. Either way, it's sure to be a spectacular ride.

I wish I was going somewhere special for the 4th... chances are we'll just hang out at home and I won't see a single firework... damn I hate living out in the country with parents who aren't motivated to do anything...

I should be able to see fireworks from my place this year. I think I'll skip going down to see them in person and avoiding all the crowds.

Pretty much a fateful coincidence we're celebrating on the 4th. Friends/FIFA & BBQ's a definite, and before the sun sets, Emma Stone's bringing the fireworks in The Amazing Spider-Man at the cinema. Should be a lovely day. Eat, drink & be merry.

The heat here today is PERFECT to go swimming later on. I sooo can't wait. :33

And Fireworks is illegal in my area so I won't be able to see them, perhaps on TV. :P

I was about to ask why the fireworks, forgot America existed for a brief moment in time, ah.

I shall just pretend the US is celebrating my birthday a week in advance ;).

Since there's a giant lake in the town that I'm in I could go swimming anytime I please, I just need to get a new pair of trunks and invite some friends to come with though.

There's no pool really close by. Some neighborhood kids are planning to get a pool in their backyard, but they and their family have to wait two months to get clearance from the city (for whatever reason).

Hopefully, by August, there will be a pool for all the neighborhood kids (and me, conveniently) to swim around in.

It's not going to be a big pool, because the yard it's going in is extremely small.

    Well if it's an underground pool then they have to make sure there are no pipes or cables running underneath the yard so they can actually dig down XD;
