Can someone plese tell me how to get the scyther mission

If you mean the New Bora mission, it's exclusive to the Research career. But I would prefer if you avoided it for now because you'll get stuck in a game breaking glitch! It says on the main thread, but just in case you didn't see it =)

I'm re-doing the Surf and Fly License scripts. These are just some additions I'm including to go on top of the Pokémon that already qualified you to get them!


For FLY, I've added in Xatu (only for CRIMINALS), Honchkrow, Swellow (only for RESEARCHERS), Golbat and Crobat.


For SURF, I've added in Dragalge (only for SEEKERS), Lumineon (only for RESEARCHERS).


If anyone has any more last-minute suggestions let me know! =) I don't want to include first-evolution-stage Pokémon or many second-stage ones, or things like Raticate for Surf, but if I'm missing a widely-used Pokémon that many of you guys are using I will add it.

Hello, I was wondering if you needed any help with this ROM Hack? For example, probably a beta tester. I am not sure if you like debugging the hack by yourself, but I am pretty sure it could be time consuming is all. :)

You can include him because in the official games you get spearow road 2, so very fast.

I know you wanna break with this picture "I get pidgey in the first grass in every game" but you just have to include him towards Lord Grey's Estate for example =) *making poppy dog's eyes";-;

I like what you suggested, because it does get annoying to see that every time in a game you usually see a pidgey. I hate the whole fact that you get a flying type most likely in the earliest part of the game anyway.

Yeah Pidgey will be available in the wild in the second region, so he'll still be in the game =) Pidgeot is one of my favourite flying-types too so I totally get where you're coming from, I just felt replacing him with Pidove for the game's 'early bird Pokemon' would be better to differentiate it enough from the original FireRed/the original games =P. So Pidgey will be the early regional Flying/Normal bird in the second half of the game! =)

That's fine. =) In situations where there are career-dependant events, either your Research or Crime career will take over so you can experience both evenly. Same with Seeker/Researchers =)

Hi! can you extend to every career the fact we can get the references of the trainer who has Moltres? Tristan right? you get the reference during the steelix mission. Wanted to know if it's possible to have it even if you don't choose seekers career...?

You can't. As it's mentionned in the first post the gym leader career ends there. (only seven gyms) Even if you complete all the quests in the island, the man will stay there. The fight is simply not scripted I guess.

I used walk trough walls, did not change anything. You can't fight Troy

Yeah the Steelix event and Tristan's reference are available to everyone! Tristan is your friend no matter what Career you do, he just feels a bit more competition with you if you become a Seeker. =)

You already can in Version 2 if you go to Iron Hollow =)
