    What's wrong with "normal" training?

    Pokemon really is a grinding game. You get into a battle, kill the other guy, get into another battle, kill the other guy, repeat ad infinitum. There are no "quests" that reward expirence. It doesn't matter if it is regular trainer battles, or wild battles. Grinding is grinding.
