Yeah, as soon as I heard about the Pyroar and the 1st gen starters, I was pretty set on a monotype for whenever I got another copy of the game, or if (heaven forbid!) it allowed multiple save files.

I think Serebii revised it- there is a gender ratio skewed towards females by a long shot. It makes sense because in a pride of lions there are a lot more females than males.

First shiny ever was a Ponyta in Mt. Ember in Firered. I accidentaly the K.O. The first one I caught on the other hand was a Voltorb in Emerald. It was not quite as impressive looking.
