Thanks! Yeah, I use to go to a vocational school and then I studied Culinary Arts (which included a curriculum revolving Baking, Cooking, Business, all that fun stuff) while I was there. I think I was around 15 where I really felt like that the pastry field would be a ton of work and I felt this weird connection to the field, if that makes sense. I'm not a good decorator, so one of my goals at Johnson and Wales, the college I'm going to, is to learn how to decorate desserts more and hopefully get good job opportunities out of it.

I'm not crazy about some pastries/tarts either, I'm more interested in making different doughs and the fundamental processes in general, and not so much the decorating, if that makes sense. lol

Yeah, losing downtime sucks, but whatever, you kinda can't help but to lose it sometimes, especially moving, that's gonna be a big change.

I'm going to a college that has a Culinary Campus and I'd like to get a Bachelors in Baking and Pastry Arts.

Yeah, what sucks now in this summer for me is that I don't really have downtime. My focus is going towards working and planning what I'm gonna do for college, paying them, getting the books I need for these classes, ordering stuff for my dormroom, and stuff like that.

I do have some downtime, but the downtime I have I'm using it to do stuff I enjoy, if that makes sense.

I know, it's been a long time since we talked last, huh.

I've been doing good, I'm kinda in that boat with having real life take over, getting ready for college and the like. I do still lurk here for the most part and over at the irc though, I'm just not as active as I once was.

I've only watched a few tutorials at this point, but are new plugins for VX Ace still being actively created? Are they compatible with ones for MV?

EDIT: I don't know. MV has the option to change your resolution to pretty much any size when VX Ace doesn't, has a sideview battle system by default, and uses larger graphics. I'm not planning to make a pokemon game, so it honestly looks better to me?

This is completely unrelated, but would it be worthwhile for me to get RPG Maker are mess around with it?
