Thanks! Yeah, I use to go to a vocational school and then I studied Culinary Arts (which included a curriculum revolving Baking, Cooking, Business, all that fun stuff) while I was there. I think I was around 15 where I really felt like that the pastry field would be a ton of work and I felt this weird connection to the field, if that makes sense. I'm not a good decorator, so one of my goals at Johnson and Wales, the college I'm going to, is to learn how to decorate desserts more and hopefully get good job opportunities out of it.
I'm not crazy about some pastries/tarts either, I'm more interested in making different doughs and the fundamental processes in general, and not so much the decorating, if that makes sense. lol
