    I don't know if I'll have internet access, because the computer is going outside to where I will now be sleeping. So I may not be in touch until I get back home, and if so, I apologize. But, at least I will be able to work on SotW that way.

    Sorry it took me ages to reply to your last message. I have been busy with my research program recently, and I have just purchased a car of my own. A BMW 530i, seems to be a good one! I replied to lots of messages tonight, and I am kinda exhausted now(lol do you believe me? I am always energetic!).

    Well it does seem hard to implement a female protagonist in Pkmn HOF, considering there is not an appropriate storyline designed for her. My spriter Suro hasnt submit Ashley's sprite anyway, and I will see what I can do about this. Thank you for showing interest and offering help, I really appreciate. And yeah conditional branch seems fair for a game with both male and female protagonists.

    Well it is indeed a task for game developers to figure out how to make trainer battles more exciting and unpredictable. The AI of the battle system may need to be upgraded, and new techniques and elements can be added to the system so battles can be both entertaining and challenging. Perhaps people will love your game since you are giving them more options and freedom on pokemon training/battling, and lets hope so.

    And lol I haven't watched anime for like ages, and it was pretty funny when I noticed that Ash was still like a 10 year old kid. It seems that aging never happens in pokemon anime series, and I am actually not that surprised. Apparently Nintendo tried to make some changes, whose evidence can be found on the new heroines. Ash should have been replaced by Brandan and Lucas, but fans wouldnt want to see him go. This is not a problem in pokemon adventure manga series, as Red is already a 16 old semi-mature dude, who has become a master of pokemon world.

    I completely understand what you were trying to say on your maturity thing. I remember I was unhappy when my parents and my grandparents called me a kid when I was approaching my adulthood a few years ago. My grandfather said I am just a child in thier eyes, no matter how old I grow. He is right, maturity is a relative word and you cant really tell whether you are being mature enough unless you do compare yourself to the people around you. I am mature among team HOF though, that's probably most of the staff members are underages. Anyway, age does not tell how mature your are, experience does.

    Well it is not rare to see people who hate losing. We all wish to win every battle/competition. and it is just about how we take our losses/defeats. You seem to be hard on yourself, which is definitely better than those who complain at the judges for their losses(I know one person like this on my forum, which is quite annoying). So you've got like 21 wins in battle tower? I am sure you can do better if you become more confident at yourself. But anyway, keep in mind that pokemon battle is just a game. We play it for fun, and it is really not that important no matter whether we win or not.

    BTW, how was your trip to Wyoming? It must be disturbing if you have to stay with someone who is way too controlling, but I know you can get over that. Just try to appreciate the beauty of the nature, and forget what those disturbing things are. This is how you can remain happy and enjoy your life. Sorry I shouldnt be telling you what to do since you have definitely experienced more than I do. I really hope you can enjoy what you already have, I may never be able to visit Wyoming in my life.

    lol yeah, and remember the first year students are called Freshmen. There are just too many things like this in daily life, and the reason why those non-gender neutral words are still used in daily life is that people have got used to it. Japan is a country where the status of men and women are still considerably unequal, so it is not really a surprise for them to call it a gameboy(Japanese girls apparently do not play video games as much as American and European girls anyway). My spriter Suro is making a female character called "Ashley" for Pkmn HOF, so guess the dialogue will have to be heavily revised if a female protagonist becomes playable in my game.

    So this will be your second time to Wyoming? Sounds cool, and hopefully you will enjoy it this time too.

    Well yeah, I know my idea would work for most games. I completely understand why you choose to leave the gym leaders level at the same as what they are in original video games, even though it may create balance issue. But anyway, there are people who will take the challenge and train new pokemon. This is how a game can remain enjoyable and challenging. What if Ash keeps using his original pokemon? The anime series would have been a lot more boring than what it is, even though I do not think it is interesting even with the new pokemon. lol I haven't watched anime for years, so how can I know?

    The magnet train will be used in Pkmn HOF too, and I like the idea a lot. It was so epic in G/S/C series. For my maps, well, I know why it is hard for you to gimme feedback, and I know it would hard for anyone except perfectionists like Moose. Anyway, the reason why I asked your opinion is that you not only praise my work/concepts, but also give suggestions and constructive criticism. There are people who keep saying how amazing the maps are, which I truly appreciate, but this won't help me improve. I am also not happy with those perfectionists who only give criticism(mostly cynical criticism I must say). You apparently can see both sides, perhaps it is because of your maturity? I dunno.

    BTW, are you interested in the idea of Shoddy battle? It seems that the shoddy battle 2 will be released in early september, and I can't wait!

    Yeah, I would never expect you to be that good vocally to go from a low E3 ("Snow White Queen," 0:40/2:04) to high C#6 ("Weight of the World," 2:46/2:51) anyway.
