    These are Samson's public fakemon, he also has another sprite thread too. Also if you want to rip better sprites look up the DS Style Sprite Resource by Chaos Rush. Looking at the hack story again, I feel like adding more bug, water, and flying pokemon would be great. You shoud at least add Pokemon that have a more tropical feel to them.

    I've been doing these two hacks since last July, and I have no page (probably because of the effort involved)
    I plan on releasing a full game as the first "beta" So it's already done, but bugs get squashed eventually. Than when part 2's come out, I already have a fanbase playing the full game, and then they will be drawn to part 2s (genius plan!)

    Thank you, I haven't really been at the hacking scene for at least a year now, I grew tired of a lot of noobs and I've seen a lot of hacks that weren't even trying to break out of the norm (Minus yours, Super Rising Thunder, Hyetology, in a weird way I like Dark Vioilet, and only a few other good hacks), and others that had good stories bit the dust. So I've been lurking a bit now instead of getting back in the scene, and hacks I keep trying to make just, I don't have the drive to continue them. I dunno why, but I don't want to see this hack go down with the rest of the unfinished hacks. So I just want to at least help with completeing it, even if I only do a little thing like testing, to lessen the load on the creator.

    Now, you said you are adding 4th and 5th generation pokemon, that includes some evolutions/pre-evolutions of pre-existing ones right? Some of them if you put them next to what they are evolving/evolved from, some are perfect (examples: Weavile, Yanmega), some are not (example: Lickylicky) IMO. I really think, unless you like Lickylicky, not to include him and others you think do not fit and use Samson's fake evolutions for others, unless you don't want to add a lot of fakemon. IMO, as far as evolutions go, I find the fake Volbeat and Illumise evolutions to be better than some from gen 4. Then again, it's your choice, you call the shots.

    Also I know some stuff about Advance Map and Pokemon insertions with the advanced series and fixing the pokemon up in YAPE, so if you want I can help with that too.

    Hi, I really like your hack storyline, it seems really good so far. I like that "castaway-feel" to a Pokemon game.
    If you need help with beta testing I could help you, I have beta-tested the first snakebyte Light Platinum translation. I also look out for bugs on every hack all the time too, so I could help straighten out a few. I could also help with the storyline too a little bit if you want. But only if you want my help, of course.

    HxD is better since YOU know how much free space is there. Plus FSF is old and searches for 00 bytes if there aren't enough FF bytes. Even if you take the option off. Remember this: "If you want it done right, you do it yourself!" Tools are only "helpers" but a hacker must know what he/she is doing. Plus looking for a lot of FF bytes in not THAT hard to do.
    Wait, you don't understand offsets. An offset contains data (in this case images)
    So 900000 holds your image. So it could be from 900000-901000, or whatever. So that is already used. So you can't throw in something else in there. That's why you use hxd, so that you can find free space (FF bytes are free space) So searching for FF bytes is searching for FREE space. As in not used. Gamefreak uses from 0-71FFFF. So 720000 and up are good, except the D00000-E50000 area. I thought you knew where all of your data was at. And plus, when you use offsets, use ones that end in 0,4,8, or C. So 900001 would freeze the game. Just a heads up on that.
    There's an option "automatically fix pointers". This points to your new offset. Also since you just overwrote what was originally there, I won't be surprised if you get corruptions.
    Well that could be because of this:
    Let's say pal for front is at 234678
    and you import a new one there. Whatever WAS there, is now the new pal. That' why repointing is important.
    Ok, just make sure NOT to keep using advance map 1.95 or your ROM will no longer work. I warned you. :D
    Ruby huh? Yeah. Ruby's code is glitched up, and that's why FR is more widely hacked. Emerald is in-between ruby and fr's codes, and that's the least hacked one. I'm not sure if it's the level script, but you should always test scripts on OWs (NPCs) then if it works, go on to the real thing. Just saying. It's not your script, that's for sure. I think it's your weather on the header, change it to "in-house weather". That means "apply no extra weather", so there are no glitches. Try it
